A Barns X TSX 570 gr fired from my 500 NE, recovered from a huge Buffalo bull. Picture on the left, shows the bullet as recovered. (Federal Loads, not my own) 2nd Picture l - r 375 H&H Norma 300gr, 416 Rem 400 gr, and my 500 NE.
First time ever Ive seen Barns not expand at all.

Everyone, especially the keyboard warriors that buy their Wagyu steaks at the local butcher, that has never seen hunger, or even the vegetarians. This is hunger!! Within 10 minutes, literally, there was nothing. One guy even jumped into the wasps nest with a knife! Sad reality. Glad my great friend and client could make this happen for these locals. Area hasnt been hunted for 4 years. 4 years of no meat proteien!

Day 2 of 7. First Jumbo for 2024. Real close shot. Got into a herd of about 6 bulls. 2 were fighting 3 winded us on approach and made a b line out of there and then this one.

Also couldve shot a bull sleeping on day one. He was lying flat on his side. Couldnt believe our luck. Heavy cover and wind got us again.

While hunting Buffalo, we saw a Leopard in daytime, and our youngest Huntress killed a slob of an Impala, and we tracked a wounded Waterbuck.

Over 2 months ago, our season got into full swing with Spanish clients. It was a great start. After joining them, 3 days into the hunt, I came back from Cape Town where we slayed Yellowfin Tuna! Of the 4 landed ( 45 kg, 55kg, 65kg and 80kg ) we could only keep 1 pice of a fillet, pan seared with sesame seads and creamy mushroom pasta! More to come!

Last hunt of the season, done and dusted! Started w a bang and ended with a Extreme High note. My cousin, JP joined me on this last croc hunt! Thanks to everybody involved! You know who you are! Now, bring on 2024! Its gonna be EPIC times!

This post I its more of a confession! In the ut-most impossible place to hunt a Crocodile( because of extreme fishing and netting from our Zambian comrades - chasing away and netting all living things in the Zambezi infront of our camp) we put out baits at strategic places! Knowing all the big crocs moved on or were eaten!.Our baits had 2 crocs hit it! 20" and maybe a 35" croc!

So, last night I sent a intense prayer, asking for Gods will to help us succeed on a Croc, because we had 1 tag, and common, its the Zambezi, right!

Got report from our scouts our bait has been hit in a humungus way....

This afternoon we struck gold. For me, another only confirmation on Gods Always promise!

Heres the result. God is Always Good!
