Address
There is no public transport to Faraway Fields. When taking the N7 from Cape Town. Travel north past Malmesbury, past Mooreesberg then turn left into Piketberg. * turn left off the N7 at the Piketberg, traffic circle then drive ~800m and bare right on R365 to Elands Bay * drive 2km to the first road left and head to the Versfeldspas and Piket-bo-Berg * it’s about 8km to the top of the pass – watch those hairpin bends, take your time and enjoy the view. * after another 5km take the left turn signed "Langeberg Afdelingspad" (~ 12,5km from turnoff to the pass) * drive very nearly 8km until you see a large wooden house on your right. * turn left onto the gravel road opposite this house, you have arrived at Faraway Fields The drive from the turn off to the pass takes some 20 minutes, all on an ever narrower tarred road. Hairpin bends on the ascent and corners with cautionary signs and chevron boards need to be approached carefully, particularly as one approaches the farm. Faraway Fields is 20.4km from the turn off the R365 onto the Versveldspas road.
