Scuba Island was born, by a group of us “in-landers” who in 2014 completed an amazing 3 hr. fun filled, introduction to Scuba “Coastal scuba diving resort course”. Holiday stuff, you know……. The incredible beauty, surroundings, tranquillity, and experience of our “first” ocean scuba, inspired us to create a place where “we” could dive in, on weekends in Gauteng. The entire aquarium, includes a “8 meter open water certificate qualifying section” spans 1820 m2 – (equivalent to 7 tennis courts) and is filled with a host of interesting artifacts, corals and boasts an enormous variety of South Africa‘s most beautiful larger and smaller fresh water fish species, Carp, Trout, Tilapia and certain Koi species, together with other natural water borne plants and creatures, including turtles, which all live in total harmony. We have in essence attempted to create the experience of diving in the sea. SCUBA ISLAND OFFERS:
