Meet Charles and Martha Grootboom, our on the ground team at De Goede Hoop Farmstead 💫 Having lived and worked on the farm since 1988, and married in 1992, we couldn’t have asked for a better team to take care of our guests during their stay!

Martha is the angel who bakes fresh farm bread and rusks for our guests. She also ensures that our Farmstead is always sparkling clean and stocked.

Charles, our foreman on the farm, makes sure that our wood-fired Kolkol is ready to be enjoy on your arrival and is always happy to assist where he can.

Our 5-star ratings are largely accredited to this fantastic team - we are so grateful to have them with us!
