VACANCY: TOURISM OFFICER | YZERFONTEIN
Swartland Tourism NPC is hiring a vibrant and customer-focused Tourism Officer in Yzerfontein. This role involves managing the Tourism Information Office, promoting local attractions, assisting with tourism development, and working closely with the local community and town projects.

Key Requirements:
Proficiency in English & Afrikaans
Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills
Social media marketing & event coordination experience
Own a vehicle & valid driver’s license (Code B)
Tourism-related qualifications & experience (advantageous)
Salary: R15 000/month (non-negotiable)

Today, December 13, 2024, we celebrated the launch of the Yzerfontein Welcome Campaign, showcasing our vibrant community spirit. As holidaymakers flock to our beautiful town. The Neighbourhood Watch, Yzerfontein Armed Response, Swartland Traffic and Law Enforcement Services, Darling Police, NSRI, Bewarea, Department of Forestry, Fisheries and Environment, Yzerfontein Resident’s Association and Swartland Tourism-Yzerfontein office united to create a festive season plan prioritizing safety and protection.
The Yzerfontein Tourism Office played a vital role, sharing town info, safety tips, emergency contacts, and an exciting events calendar. Thank you to all stakeholders including our members and sponsors for making this initiative a success!
