Yzerfontein is still a relative small coastal fishing village with a small harbour, it’s friendly and welcoming, with all the charm of a town that cares for its people, wild life, and, of course, the fynbos kingdom in which it is situated. Yzerfontein is an urban conservancy and residents work tirelessly to protect the natural heritage for generations to come. Across the small bay, fishing boats, pleasure boats and jet-skis all mix with kite-boarders, surfers, kayakers and swimmers. You can walk the 16-Mile Beach – it stretches all the way to Postberg – or put your feet in the sand at Pearl Bay, another beach that seems to go on forever and has a view all the way to Table Mountain. A full list of attractions and activities in and around Yzerfontein is available on request. Alternatively you can visit Yzerfontein Tourism’s web site - http://www.yzerfonteintourism.co.za/
