As I told you we enjoyed very much in all game drive we had in all lodges of our itinerary.

Just love this feedback from our clients.

“The journey through Zambia was impressive. The children are still blown away and we still think back wistfully to the country.

The best accommodations were Mutinondo, North Luangwa Bush Camp, Luambe and Thornicroft. The team at North Luangwa bush camp and Luambe in particular were incredible.
The lodge in North Luangwa had just been completed and we were allowed to be the first guests. The lodge is really incredibly beautiful. Superbly located on a bend in the river, marvellous views, super nice rooms/chalets, great food and good game drives.
Funnily enough, two employees of Luambe Lodge were on site, so we already knew our next operators.
Of the game drives, Luambe NP was actually the best, the guide had worked in South Luangwa NP for a long time and knew a lot about the animals. We were mostly travelling alone in the park with him and saw lots and lots of animals. A really big praise to the team, an incredible hospitality, very individual and far away from tourism. In South Luangwa NP, the classic tourism caught up with us, it really was a different world.

Thank you very much for your great tips, the really professional advice and the very helpful back up in Zambia, without this it would not have been such a safe and special holiday.”

Christina Chipemba from our team attended a traditional family pre-wedding ceremony called ichilanga mulilo which directly translates to “showing the fire”. The purpose of this ceremony is to introduce the brides food and cooking culture to the grooms family. It is a buffet of traditional Zambian meals, an opportunity for the groom and his family to taste the different delicacies his wife to be will be expected to cook for him. When the cooking is done the brides family arrive at the grooms family house singing and dancing. The food is then presented to the groom with explanations of what each delicacy symbolizes, the singing and dancing continues.
