African View is hiring the following professional figures:

LIVINGSTONE:
1 x Activity Office manager: male or female, min. Grade 12 + additional studies in tourism. Min. 5 years experience managing activity desks for reputable companies (with verifiable references). Must have perfect knowledge of English language spoken and written, talkative and engaging personality, good knowledge of MS software packages.
Responsibilities will include: activities bookings, organisation and supervision. Multi-day Safari planning and coordination, office book-keeping, growing or business network.
Applications not properly written or containing spelling mistakes will not be considered.

1 x PSV driver. Must have a PSV license and a clear driving history (no accidents) in the previous 5 years. Willing to engage in guiding and to be enrolled in our internal Guides Training Program. Willing to travel overnight. Holder of valid passport OR no restrictions to open one. Must have excellent knowledge of English language, talkative and open/engaging personality. Willing to grow in the company and available for training sessions in other parts of Zambia (Lower Zambezi & South Luangwa national park).

SOUTH LUANGWA NATIONAL PARK:

1 x Professional guide with PSV drivers license for at least 2 years. Must have a PSV license and a clear driving history (no accidents) in the previous 5 years. Willing to engage in guiding and to be enrolled in our internal Guides Training Program. Willing to travel overnight. Holder of valid passport OR no restrictions to open one. Must have excellent knowledge of English language, talkative and open/engaging personality. Willing to grow in the company and available for training sessions in other parts of Zambia (Livingstone & Lower Zambezi national park).
Walking safari license is an additional bonus OR willing to train as a walking guide.

LUSAKA
1 x Safari planner: male or female, min. Grade 12 + additional studies in tourism. Min. 5 years experience creating safari packages and itineraries for reputable companies (with verifiable references). Must have perfect knowledge of English language spoken and written, talkative and engaging personality, good knowledge of MS software packages.
Responsibilities will include: Multi-day Safari planning and coordination, bookings, growing our business network.

African View Tours and Safaris is looking for the following professional figures:

Senior Safari Guide (x1): Ideal candidate must have obtained a guiding certificate from a reputable institution ("Bedrock", "FGASA" or "Teveta") and have more that 5 years experience as a full-time guide in a reputable Lodge (references will be required and investigated). Also, the Ideal candidate shall:
- Have a PSV Driver's license and experience of driving around the Country in trafficked areas
- Have an Additional Walking Safari guide certificate from the same institutions as above
- Have an additional Boating guide certificate from the same institutions as above
- Have exceptional Planning and Problem-solving skills
- Perfect knowledge of English language (spoken and written)

Safari Guide (x2): Must have obtained a "Game drive" guiding certificate from a reputable institution ("Bedrock", "FGASA" or "Teveta") and have more that 2 years experience as a full-time guide in a reputable Lodge (references will be required and investigated). Also, the Ideal candidate shall:
- Have a PSV Driver's license
- Have exceptional Planning and Problem-solving skills
- Perfect knowledge of English language (spoken and written)

Tour/Safari Planner (x1): Ideal candidate must have an excellent knowledge of Zambian and Regional Geography and at least 5 years of experience working in the Tourism industry.
Also, the Ideal candidate shall:
- Have a Grade 12 Certificate with excellent grades (further studies in Tourism and/or Business are an added bonus)
- Be proficient with main PC applications, especially word, outlook and excel
- Have exceptional Planning and Problem-solving skills
- Perfect knowledge of English language (spoken and written)

LOCATIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
1 x Senior Guide: main responsibility (DRY SEASON) will be Mobile Safaris, therefore must be willing to travel long distance for several days (all of Zambia's main National Parks and Cultural Events, Landmarks, etc. + All of neighboring Countries main areas such as Malawi, Botswana, Zimbabwe) , camping with guests in the wilderness. GREEN SEASON will be spent between Lusaka, Livingstone, and South Luangwa National Park for the sake of guides' training and lodges' support.

2 x Safari Guide: main responsibility (DRY SEASON) will be Mobile Safaris, therefore must be willing to travel long distance for several days (all of Zambia's main National Parks and Cultural Events, Landmarks, etc. + All of neighboring Countries main areas such as Malawi, Botswana, Zimbabwe) , camping with guests in the wilderness. GREEN SEASON will be spent generally in Livingstone to conduct local Activities.

1 x Tour/Safari Planner: Location of employment will be Lusaka.

150 millions years ago, Zambia was a cold place, full of snow, ice and coniferous trees, especially pines. Then, due to climate changes, the weather changed dramatically to become hot as it is now. During these times, the pine trees died and silica permeated the trunks, turning them into stone.
