LANDING SOON - WA has secured two new Qantas international direct flights providing increased connections to our wonderful State.

A direct flight between Perth and Johannesburg will start from 1 November to directly connect WA with South Africa, removing any transit via Sydney, Singapore or the Middle East that travellers currently have to contend with.

And to help us build and maintain important economic relationships with Indonesia, a direct flight between Perth and Jakarta will commence from 30 November.

Having direct connections to both Johannesburg and Jakarta will drive visitors to our State, diversifying our economy and increasing business, investment and study opportunities here in WA.

These flights are a vote of confidence in WA as we continue to reconnect with the world.
