Our 2024 Season is about to kick off with some incredible journeys this year. A lot of work in Zimbabwe and Botswana this year whereas last year i was really busy with trips through East Africa. An amazing contrast ahead and of course Hwange and Daka Plains....Photography and creating beautiful images of the wild!!!! # privatesafaris

This photo was taken by my Dad in Kenya in the 1950's...one of his good friends! How the world has changed and with it the people, culture and the wild places....We try and create journeys for our guests that are special and unique and that will evoke some of the memories and feelings of this wonderful, bygone era and time of the original safari!

Matopos National Park, a mere 30 minutes drive from Bulawayo....home to so many special places and interesting things to do. From the San Cave Paintings to the White Rhino...to World's View and Cecil John Rhodes's grave!!!!!

I travel to Tryon, Nc on Wednesday then on down to Hilton Head at the weekend. Sunday I fly to Vail where I will be for four nights. I will then have one night in Denver and then Atlanta, flying home on the 17th Feb. We are ready to plan your 2025 and 2026 Safaris, please give me a call.

I will be leaving for the USA in a few days time, landing in Atlanta on the 27th January. During the course of my short visit I will be in Nashville, Knoxville, Houston, Denver, Vail, Hilton Head and possibly Trion (SC) and then flying out of Atlanta on the 17th February. Please get in touch or private message me if we can get together, excited to see old friends and to talk about new adventures. Planning for our 2025 and 2026 Safari season is underway and also booking and promoting our new venture, Daka Plains!

Recently stayed at three incredible properties in the Cape, the first of these was Birkenhead House....i have never experienced service like this anywhere, outstanding!!!! I highly recommend this lovely small lodge to anyone visiting South Africa

Last private guided safari for 2023 completed! What a journey this year has been...the camps, the people, the places! It has been truly magical and our safari planning was faultless thanks to Nonnie👏 Such a compliment that five of the safaris we ran this year have already rebooked for 2024 and 2025. I have shared a a few special images from this last adventure. Victoria Falls, Daka Plains, the Okavango and finally the vastness of the Makgadigadi....

Zambia and ten days in the Incredible South Luangwa National Park. Often referred to as 'the Valley of the Leopard', it certainly earns the name well, five different and unique leopard sightings added to some fantastic Wild Dog action, Lion coalitions, special Elephant moments and then everything else from Hippo to Croc action......Birdlife tremendous too and some real specials like the Carmine Bee-eaters, Palm nut Vulture and the list goes on! Our special guests Kris and Ken who were on their fourth safari with us have already booked and locked in September 2025🙏

On an epic three week safari created by Nonnie with my input. Botswana - Victoria Falls - Kenya - Rwanda. Such a special journey and adventure, the Okavango Delta, Victoria Falls and Hwange, the Masai Mara and finally the Mountain Gorillas in Rwanda. I will post pics of the journey...
