The 2nd Edition of the Tourism Innovation Challenge is now open for submissions and the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority is calling for participants.

Are you a young Zimbabwean innovator or start up?
We are looking for sustainable, disruptive and innovative projects for Zimbabwe’s Tourism Sector. Selected projects will take part in a mentorship and incubation programme with industry leaders, where the overall best project will receive seed funding.
Applicants should be 30 years and below.

This Morning, the Deputy Minister of Environment, Climate, Tourism and Hospitality Industry Honourable Barbara Rwodzi is in Gokwe South where she is engaging with the tourism business community. The meeting seeks to strengthen relations between government and the private sector in an effort to work towards the attainment of a 5 billion dollar tourism economy by 2025.

Gokwe South is endowed with Heritage & Cultural Sites, Wildlife, Chirisa Safari, Gandavaroyi Falls, Dzoritsvo Falls, Hliziyana Falls, Sengwa Gorge and the magnificent Bopoma Falls.

The Deputy Minister is on a tour of the Midlands Province. The tour will be comprised of an Environment and Tourism Indaba to be held in Gweru tomorrow, 21 April 2022.
