In his speech, the Deputy Minister of Tourism and Hospitality Industry, Hon.T. Mnangagwa representing Minister Hon. Barbara Rwodzi at the Tourism Innovation Challenge Prize Giving currently underway at the Celebration Centre, expressed that "the government is committed to providing an enabling environment that fosters innovation and entrepreneurship. This commitment is evident through the establishment of various innovation hubs in tertiary institutions across the country, with active involvement from the private sector." He went on to encourage the youth to take part in this life changing competition as the ultimate benefit of this challenge is the creation of innovative projects that can transform the tourism sector in every province, diversifying our tourism products and stimulating interprovincial travel whilst creating employment.
