KARIBA WEEKEND GETAWAY.
We have the summer chills plan sorted. We are going to Kariba for a 3 days and 2 nights stay in November.
Here’s how we’ve curated this trip for you:
We depart from Harare and stop over at Chinhoyi Caves. We enter the caves and just do some familiarization of the mystic place.
We proceed with our journey and take a short break in Lions Den (you know what goes on here!)
From Lions Den we proceed to Kariba, with our last stop being at the Baobab in Makuti.
We settle in at our home for the weekend, poolside chills and all. Easy.
We have the following day set for a game drive in the morning (optional), a tour of the popular and significant spots in Kariba (we call it the highlight tour), then end the day with a sunset cruise party.
The following day we have the option to go for parasailing, you buy some fish, and we go back to Harare!
It’s a much needed break before the year ends, you’ll need to be in your best vibe. And it will be our last local weekend getaway for the year, so we are making sure it will be a blast!

We are safely back in Harare after an exciting day out at Imire.
Our morning game drive allowed us to have more time together in the afternoon. As always; some games to keep everyone engaged, conversations and moments around the fireplace where had.
We are grateful to our host, Imire: Rhino & Wildlife Conservation for taking great care of us. We had a great time and look forward to the next visit.
Tomorrow we close off the month with a visit to Imire in Wadza. Guaranteed; encounters with wildlife, and a good time. Let’s go out and make memories.

It’s a wrap!
Our weekend getaway experience to Nyanga ended with a visit to the Mutarazi Falls. Some zip lining was done and the skywalk too. Fears were faced, courage was tested, and in the end, passion prevailed.
We’ve arrived safely in Harare, and we are grateful to our travel mates who were part of this experience. They made it special, lots of timeless memories were created, and we hope to see them on another journey.
We rest a bit, and next Saturday we are on the road again as we head to Imire Wildlife Conservation Park.

📍 Nyangombe Falls, Nyanga National Park
Yesterday, we closed the first day of the Nyanga weekend getaway with a visit to the World’s View.
The weather was weathering. There were occasional drizzles, thick mist, some chilly breeze, the weather wasn’t playing!
We stayed on a bit, and soon, it slowly started clearing. It was as if a curtain was being opened. It was as if we were given a chance to gaze into another world. Such an exciting and unbelievable moment it was.
There are moments where you feel a connection with your soul, where you find peace, where you find the bliss inside you. This is one of them, and we wished if it would last forever, unfortunately it came to an end.
Anyways, we could also be grateful that we experienced it and lived in it.
Let today begin, we await the magic of Nyanga.

Only one word describes the zipline experience at Mutarazi falls, WONDERFUL!!
Our trip for the 29th is just about sharing good vibes in the outdoors, and capping the experience with a boat cruise. We are amazed at the way it’s being booked out fast. We will definitely keep bringing more of this to ensure you get to experience low cost travel, but enriching, and unforgettable experiences.
