The week comes to an end. Full of its ups and downs, but you’ve made it through.

Parents, we see you! We see you sending the bundles to school for the first time. We see you sending the children back to school. We appreciate your efforts for building the future of the children through providing them with an education. We pray that they will do well in school.

On our end, we’ve been working on ensuring that you have a diversity of local and out of Zimbabwe travels. You have most likely seen some of the packages which we have already communicated on.

Tomorrow we do a hike party at Ngomakurira. When we communicated about it the first time, we said we wanted to start the year with you conquering a challenge. It’s a challenging hike, but together we will do it. We look forward to an exciting time in the outdoors.

MUTARAZI FALLS!

This is where you can do the skywalk and zipline. These are adrenaline pumping activities, and will give you such a thrill!

The skyline (zipline) flies at an average of 50-70Km/hr! You can imagine how sensational that is. On some days you’ll fly past clouds, and in some days you’ll fly past clear skies. Either way, it’s an incredible activity.

The skywalk is also incredible. It consists of two bridges with different lengths and heights. As you walk across the suspension bridges, you’ll have a panoramic view of the Mutarazi Falls and the scenic Honde valley. It’s such a breathtaking experience.

We highly recommend both activities and hope you’ve started budgeting for them, because Mutarazi is part of our itinerary as we go to Nyanga this year.

29 -30 March: Mavhuradona Eco Wilderness Sleepover.

This is a rural tourism experience we are offering. We will travel to the scenic Mavhuradona Mountain Range, have supper prepared on fire, get to sit around a bonfire sharing stories and laughter, and sleep in thatched huts.

The following morning, you wake up to the sound of chirping birds, have a fire prepared breakfast meal, take a trail to the hidden Sohwe Falls, and see the beautiful views of the Dande Valley.

If you’ve never descended the famous “Gomo reDande”, you’ll find out why it’s popular. We will drive down to Muzarabani for sight seeing and come back up, heading to Harare.

*All food prepared will be organic — roadrunner eggs, roadrunner meat, goat etc..

We will even stop at a growth points, but you may need to be careful if you’re buying local beer, you may pass out!

Our travel packages are inclusive of transport. That way, you don’t have to stress about driving whilst on holiday. You don’t have to argue over who will take over the steering, and we know that when you are on a roadtrip you may want to take one or two drinks…

We won’t take you to a place where we will have to stop and start asking for directions, our drivers and crew are well informed on their routes and know all the spots to take you to. That’s an important one right?

Lastly, we provide vehicles which we know are suitable for the destination. The last thing you want on a roadtrip is to find out that you can’t proceed with your journey because your car can’t access certain parts of the destination. We take the responsibility on us to ensure that the cars are fit for the journey, and are serviced after the trip — some destinations can leave you wondering if it was worth it when you look at the wear and tear that happens to your car.
