Kariba is now a small and spread-out resort town which is the starting point for tourism activities centered on the lake of the same name.

Honde Valley has loads of tourism potential. The area's natural beauty and cool climate are coupled with lush forests, tea estate tours at Aberfoyle and water activities in local dams, white water rafting, the Mtarazi Falls and scenic drives make this area ideal for nature tourists.

The Skywalk is one of the most renowned activities that is offered by Far and Wide Zimbabwe, some people also go there for dirt bike racing; mostly in December, the area will be buzzing with local and some international tourists.

Fact: Mtarazi Falls - The longest falls in Zimbabwe coming from Nyanga which falls into the Honde River.

The Chinhoyi Caves:
The Wonder Hole , is the main feature of the caves which is in fact a “swallow hole” or a large cavern with a collapsed roof. The pool is unbelievably blue and crystal clear which reflects great depth non-flowing water.

The Victoria Falls also known as ‘Mosi-oa-Tunya’ – ‘The Smoke that Thunders’.

As the floods abate the view of the Falls gets better and better through the year, but at it’s lowest, around November and December the Falls become little rivulets running over the edge and in some places along the 1,7km width, no water falls at all.

The delight of visiting the Falls in this season is the view of the impressive cliffs that form the Falls wall, and the magnitude of the abyss can be fully appreciated. Sobek and Safari Par Excellence do trips by raft to the base of the Falls in low season called ‘the float of angels”.
