SPOTLIGHT ON: RAINBOW TOWERS HOTEL
In the heart of the Zimbabwean capital you will find the luxurious Rainbow Towers Hotel (previously called the Sheraton Harare Hotel). The Rainbow Group took over the hotel in 2006. The hotel is adjacent to the Harare International Conference Center and is surrounded by a spectacular garden setting. It serves as an attractive stop-over for tourists on their way between Victoria Falls in the north and South Africa.
The hotel has 298 rooms, 231 of which are standard. There are 67 exclusive rooms on the top four floors and this area is referred to as a “hotel within a hotel” - guests here are entitled to private express check-in and check-out, and welcome drinks upon arrival. The rooms are the epitomy of luxury: they offer en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning, sound-proofing, electronic safe, work desk, telephone, satellite TV, mini-bar, tea/ coffee station and a complimentary morning newspaper.
Guests of the Rainbow Towers Hotel will never go hungry - there are two restaurants in the complex. Other facilities include: housekeeping; laundry; outdoor pool; heated swimming pool; tennis court; gym; spa service; curio shop and child care.
When staying at the Rainbow Towers Hotel, you have access to the heart of Harare. Notable attractions nearby are the Queen Victoria Museum (800m away), the National Museum (1,3km), the Harare Gardens (1,5km) and the National Art Gallery (1,6km).
