What is a home ? It's a place where we are accepted with open arms, a place where we are free to be who we want and venture into the unknown without fear of coming across unfamiliar grounds. Home is a place where the faces are familiar and there is laughter everywhere now the question is where is your home?
Zimbabwe, that's my home

Mana Pools National Park is situated in the far north of Zimbabwe, in the Zambezi River Valley. It is a remote and beautiful game reserve that is home to some of the most legendary safari guides in Africa and is known for its fantastic canoe trails and walking safari adventures. Situated right opposite the Lower Zambezi National Park in Zambia, this part of the Zambezi River Valley is home to an impressive variety of species and birds. There are a number of rustic camps, some permanent and some seasonal. A number of camps became a bit run down during Zimbabwe’s economic and tourism slump, but in general, the area seems to be recovering, and certainly worth a visit.

Chinhoyi Caves or as they call them, “pool of the fallen “are a group caves situated about 9 kilometers north -west of the town Chinhoyi in the Mashonaland west Administrative Province. The walls of the wonder hole drop vertically down for 150 feet to the sleeping pool in which adrenaline junkies normally use for Scuba diving. The pool is unbelievably blue and crystal clear which reflects great depth non flowing water. The local name for the caves pool, Chirorodziva comes from an incident that occurred in 1888, where members of the Angonni tribe attacked the local people and threw their victims into the cave to dispose of them. So dare take a dive into the caves? Itayi Patrick Chitovoro

When a sight is named as one of the seven wonders of the world then you are in for a treat. In 1800s the local Kololo tribe named the waterfalls as ‘Mosi -oa -Tunya ‘or the “Smoke that thunders “. The wide basalt cliffs and powerful Zambezi River together create a waterfall like no other, spilling over 500 million cubic meters of water every month. Why not take a trip to Victoria Falls to swim in the jaw dropping “Devil’s pool” which is situated on the Zambian side. When the river levels every year a magnificent rock pool is exposed creating the most scenic plunge pool on earth an ideal photo op. Make sure you consider the best time to visit Victoria Falls as the Devils Pool is only open between late August and early January. Whether you fancy a leisurely canoe down the Zambezi or and adrenaline filled white -water rafting adventure there really is something for every explorer. A sunset view is the perfect way to end a day at Victoria Falls. As the African sun falls you can relax and take in the awe-inspiring views as you glide along the Zambezi River and if you’re lucky enough you may very well spot a few hippos bathing along the way. The trip wouldn’t be complete without going on safari’ and Victoria Falls will spoil you for your choice. You can discover the wild on foot with a walking tour through the Zambezi National Park or if you feel brave enough why not climb up onto an elephant and go on a safari led by one of Africa’s most magnificent creature.

Are you looking for adventure? Are you one for an adrenaline inducing yet breath taking experience? Then Mount Nyangani is the place you are looking for. Imagine going on a jaunt after which you may never be seen alive (dead) ever again? The Mountain is surrounded by mystery and legend has it if one says certain things while on the mountain they venture into the unknown and are never seen again but then again who doesn’t love a great mystery and a challenge to conquer the highest point in Zimbabwe. The reasons to climb the mountain far out weigh the reasons not to. The cool natural water that springs from the belly of the mountain cooling those who drink it. The beautiful lichen adding color to the rocks formed over thousands upon thousands of years. The fauna that lines the walkway springing the colorful bright yellow flowers as well as daises making up the fauna that litters the mountain, hiding behind rocks and in the nooks and crevices of the rocks and who can ignore the obvious health benefits of mountain climbing so dare yourself and explore.
