UB 40 founder Ali Campbell took merry makers down memory lane when he held a unforgettable show at Old Hararians Sports Club over the weekend.
The reverred UK based reggae outfit who mesmerised merrymakers with their old time hits such as Red Red Wine, is on a Southern Africa tour and their performance in the capital is testimony to the city as a great tourist destination
Kuimba Shiri Bird Park
Located on the shores of Lake Chivero Harare Zimbabwe Kuimba Shiri Bird sanctuary was founded in 1994 which houses over 460 species of all African birds. There is a walk through bird display at the scenery. Some of the birds that are found at this sanctuary include fish eagle, snake eagle, black eagle, Egyptian vultures, Owls, Parrots, Falcons, ducks, Ostriches and Turkeys among other birds. This sanctuary has been drawing tourist for than 25 years. The place is elegantly and natured therefore weddings, conferences and parties can be hosted.

The City of Harare stand is attracting a number of visitors at the ongoing #travelindaba22 in Durban

Harare City Council’s Publicity Office has become a one stop shop for tourists from different countries who come to explore the beauty of Zimbabwe and for locals who come to enquire directions and different information about the country.
From September 2018 to August 2019 the office received 184 foreigners and 2700 locals.
Recently the Harare Publicity Association Office have received tourists from Britain and Japan and the video below shows tourists from Britain and Japan who recently visited the office.
They visited Matopo National Parks in Bulawayo and Victoria Falls.
Yujinko June from Japan is looking forward to see the beauty of the Eastern Highlands
“Next time l will visit Eastern Highlands and many people told me that the place is really beautiful”, said Yujinko June.
Zimbabwe is a very beautiful country where you can find many beautiful places to relax and these tourists’ comments prove that.
These tourists loved the reception they had been given in different places they went.
“They were so welcoming and friendly”, said one of the tourists from Britain.
