Our guests who stayed in South Camp during March:

Such a special time once again, thank you! Staff were excellent!! Waking up in the morning with all the bush sounds & watching the gentle sunrise from our bed was just the most beautiful way to start the day. The staff called us to see a leopard on our first morning, what a treat!!
Thank you to all the Kapula staff!

Our guests visiting SOUTH CAMP in January 2024: Kapula itself is an ideal camp for adventurers - very secluded in the bush. Everything you need is there - cooking tent - well equipped - lounge for game viewing (Lion 100 meters from the tent) - all without a fence. The camp attendant is very attentive - well informed - reserved - but always present when you need him. Even does the dishes! WOW

A Beautiful descriptive poem written in Afrikaans language by one of our South African guests who visited Kapula in July.

(Loosely translated in English)

Bush night

The full moon is finally in the sky
Two elephant bulls butt heads at the waterhole
A hyena giggles and laughs in the background
A night owl echoes the night
A deathly silence hangs over Kapula valley

What more is more. This IS more and IS all

A hyena is in camp, coming to prey on our rib bones
I see his silhouette through the tent mesh

Elephants growl in the distance at Masuma dam
The oppressive silence waits for a catch
What will the lions do
The hyena slurps up all the bird bath’s water
An elephant approaches the waterhole

Elephants trumpet at the dam
Manes begin to roar in duet
Jackals howl
It's a chilly evening at Masuma dam

Feedback from our guests who stayed at Kapula in October. "Admire at Masuma is the camp attendant and he really was a great guy who went out of his way to make our stay incredibly enjoyable, even going as far as to radio Kapula when there was a great sighting at Masuma Dam"

A truly special place!!
Kapula is an incredible experience for those who love freedom and wilderness. If you are looking for luxury then look elsewhere. But if you are looking for a 7 star EXPERIENCE in Africa this is for you. The wildlife is right next to, and often inside, the camp meaning that you are deeply connected with the environment which is so rare nowadays. The staff are excellent - very helpful and friendly, all of the necessities are there for self catering, the ensuite tents are very comfortable and the game viewing deck over a water trough is lovely. This was our fourth trip but first time in October which is without doubt a fantastic time from a game viewing point of view - we saw lions on every game drive. All in all a truly amazing experience!!
