The best time of the year to book the Sovereign for a houseboat safari on Lake Kariba is between April and August.

This is when dry and sunny weather prevails with daytime temperatures averaging around 25 degrees Celcius.

Evenings are chilly, so remember to pack some warmer clothes for when the sun sets.
