Today is ! 🦛Let’s dive into some fascinating facts about these incredible creatures:

Hippos are the third-largest land mammal, weighing in excess of 3 tons (large male)!

Despite their size, hippos can run up to 30km per hour!

Hippos spend most of their day in water, where they can hold their breath for up to 5 minutes!

Hippos are herbivores, eating up to 70kgs of grass per day!

Unfortunately, hippos are vulnerable to habitat loss, poaching, and human-wildlife conflict.

Help us spread awareness for these amazing animals!

Today is International Zebra Day!🤍🦓🖤 Here’s some facts about them that you might not have known.

1. Did you know that the common collective noun for Zebra is called as a dazzle?
2. Just like human fingerprints, no two zebras have identical stripe patterns.
3. Zebras live in family groups called harems, led by a dominant stallion, and often form large herds for safety.
4. Zebras can remember water sources and migration routes over vast distances, even after years.
5. Zebras can extract nutrients from low-quality grasses, giving them an advantage in sparse grazing areas.
