Zhombwe and Hurungwe imposing bornhardts adjacent to each other near Murehwa Growth Point. The nature of the structure of the mountains and their surroundings has caused legendary stories of how they ended being where they are.

THE LEGEND

1. Once upon a time, Zhombwe
mountain came from Buhera in the south along a track manifesting today as a valley.

2. Hurungwe mountain of
Murehwa then engaged
Zhombwe in a titanic fight.

After being beaten
thoroughly, Zhombwe moved
to a new area the path of which is marked by another
valley.

While the general outlook of bornharts in this area is that of smooth outlines
‘whalebacks’, Hurungwe and Zhombwe are shattered.

Zhombwe that travelled from Buhera shows the highest degree of fracturing showing the extent of the suffering during the fight.

SCIENCE

The mountains have always been there since Archaean times, exhumed by
weathering and erosion. The valleys are tracing faults and d***s
many of which trend NW-SE. The jagged structure of the two bornharts
is the result of faulting with Zhombwe
having been fractured more than Hurungwe by the faulting.

COMMENT

Although mythical explanation for the evolution of the structures, the
observations were spot on.

The Balancing Rocks are geomorphological features of igneous rocks found in many parts of Zimbabwe, and are particularly noteworthy in Matopos National Park, and near the township of Epworth, to the southeast of Harare.

Naturally made delicious food, it's called honey, and because of its sweetness, people tend to call their baes honey, and in order to get honey, you should dare to be stung by bees. After all, honey beside being a delicious food, it is a best remedy for some illnesses and malnutrition for example, it is a remedy for erectile dysfunction, it treats flu, easy bug bites swellings and so forth... I enjoy it as a friend of nature!

The Victoria Falls Bridge crosses the Zambezi River just below the Victoria Falls and is built over the Second Gorge of the falls. As the river forms the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia, the bridge links the two countries and has border posts on the approaches to both ends, at the towns of Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, and Livingstone, Zambia.

Wow! The Kariba Dam is a double curvature concrete arch dam in the Kariba Gorge of the Zambezi river basin between Zambia and Zimbabwe. The dam stands 128 metres (420 ft) tall and 579 metres (1,900 ft) long. The dam forms Lake Kariba, which extends for 280 kilometres (170 mi) and holds 185 cubic kilometres (150,000,000 acre) of water.
