Let's Go Wild

Let's Go Wild The bush is the best for that long needed rest. Let me know when would you like to come: [email protected] May I suggest a better plan? Lets relax! Cost?

Zimbabwe is a song which, once heard is never forgotten. The poignant notes of marimba as sunset bleeds the sky over a quiet African Village. It is an ancient country with history that stretches back into primeval mists. Zambezi Valley cradled Brachiosaurus( the largest animal to walk the earth). Vulcanodon had its happy hunting grounds where now is Lake Kariba. The first to inhabit Zimbabwe were

Bushmen, a small nomadic people who record all the beauty around them on the walls of their cave homes. Just inside Zimbabwe the Zambezi River plunges 350 feet ( 108 meters) to form the spectacular Victoria Falls. Below the Falls, the river rushes through stunning gorges in frenzied fury- making this stretch of white water Africa's most exiting rafting run. It will take us 15 hours non-stop drive from Harare airport to visit Victoria Falls! As soon as You arrive in Africa, lets switch on to African Time! That means" No worries"! We will be travelling through bush, villages, towns and National Parks for 14 days. Hot sunshine, dusty roads, simple food, simple life....
We shall walk with lions, ride elephants, taste crocodile tail, enjoy many beautiful bird songs.. We shall rest drinking sundowners on the verandas overlooking water- hole. As sun sinks down lots of animals come to drink. You asked me when is the best time to come to Zimbabwe? I thing You are the best person to decide:

We have 3 seasons:

From November through to March. Hot, Wet season - summer in Zimbabwe
Temperatures are normally between 85'F and 95'F ( 30'C and 35'C). The first flush of green plants appear with first rains. Frogs are calling everywhere. Whole flights of birds sweep in from equatorial Africa and Europe. It is harder to observe wild life through the lush green bush, but possible. It is easer to get malaria. We will sleep under mosquito nets and use repellents. From May to August
Cool and Dry season - autumn and winter in Zim. Temperatures may drop low as 45'F ( 8'C) for short periods during the night, rising quickly after sunrise to high of 77'F ( 25'C). Bush has started to dry out. Animals has to walk longer to find water. It is much easer to see them in the wild. Almost no problem with malaria. From September to November
Hot and Dry season - Our Spring. The hottest time of the year! Temperatures center on 105'F (40'C) mark. Intense heat is followed by massive cloud build-up, leading to impressive electrical storms. The heat is not humid. Dust,devils-whirlwinds-swirl their way across barren plains. Bush fires along with the dust in atmosphere create the blood red sunsets, for which Africa is famous. Probably the best time to see mating lions. Basic accommodation, simple food, clean drinking water and transport will cost minimum USD 100 a day per person (provided there are 6 guests in the tour group). Extra activities will have to be paid for by the client, for example:
- Walking with lions - 80
- Helicopter flight over Victoria Falls - 150
- Entrance to Vic Falls - 20
- Dinner at Boma Restaurant - 40
- Bungi jumping off Vic Falls bridge - 100
- Elephant ride - 60
We can offer more luxurious accommodation, but the cost will go up to about USD 300-400 a day, all included. Let me know when you would like to come, I will need to book accommodation 2 months in advance. We look forward to hearing from you and showing you around Zimbabwe, the Jewel of Africa!!!
