Fact time : Nyanga is the only place in Zimbabwe with the highest number of Waterfalls in different locations, Nyangombe falls , Pungwe falls , Nyamuziwa Falls , Mtarazi Falls, Nyakupinga falls, Gairezi falls
Today We showcase a hidden Jewel not frequented by many .
The Pungwe Falls are one of the scenic highlights of Zimbabwe. The Pungwe Falls is a tiered waterfall; many beautiful tiers and plunges make up the entire waterfall system. It winds its way through the mountain and shows off its strong water current between rocks and elevated ground. The waterfall is surrounded by rocks, open plains, trees, bushes and undeveloped land. The main source of the Pungwe Falls is the Pungwe River; a perennial river which stretches over a vast distance; 400 km from Zimbabwe to Mozambique

The landscape leading toward the horizon is uncluttered by human habitation or roads, the air is cool and fresh. The few visitors often have the whole landscape to themselves and this makes the journey on poorly maintained roads worth the effort.
