❤️ THINGS TO SEE AND DO IN NYANGA WITH DISTANCES FROM TENDESAI LODGE ❤️ (in alphabetical order)
** Brondesbury Park Hotel, Sanyatwe: approximately 7km from Tendesai Lodge towards Nyanga on the left hand side. Offering a restaurant and bar, swimming pool, quad bikes, kids trampoline, giant chess set, and fishing. Contact 0782 707 837.
** Claremont Golf Club, Juliasdale: approximately 31km from Clouds End, just past the Montclair Hotel & Casino on the right hand side. There is a bar, meals and teas, and offers golf to non-members.
** Far and Wide, Nyanga/Juliasdale: located approximately 74km from Tendesai Lodge – (all mileage is approximate) at the Juliasdale A14/Mutare Road approx 1km before the Montclair Hotel, turn into the Mutare Road, travel 24km,turn left Honde Valley Road, 1.7km, turn left the Pungwe Scenic Road (‘Far and Wide’ sign), through Chingamwe Forest Estate for 15km, right at Mutarazi Falls Road (‘Far and Wide’ sign), 4.5km is Far and Wide. There is a BOOKING OFFICE just past the Montclair Hotel next to the ZUVA service station. Offers activities at various places: Mtarazi Skyline and Sky Walk, Pungwe White Water Rafting and Kayaking, High Ropes Course, The Giant Swing, and the Turaco Trail and Guided Hikes. ** Froggy Farm, Juliasdale: approximately 22km from Tendesai Lodge. Offers a kiosk for vegetables, jams and preserves; and has coffee, milkshakes, soft drinks, meals, and pizza (they have their own pizza oven). They also have various gifts and meats for sale. There is a playground for children, a deck overlooking the farm with cafe’ table, and bench seats on the lawn. ** Montclair Hotel & Casino, Juliasdale: approximately 30km from Tendesai Lodge. Facilities and amenities are open to non-guests including the casino, put-put, horse rides, a swimming pool, bar, and meals and teas. ** National Parks and Wildlife Authority Zimbabwe (‘Nat Parks’), Nyanga National Park: various attractions of a cultural and aesthetic interest and located around the Park such as Mtarazi Falls and Mount Nyangani. ** Nyanga Trout Farm, 12km peg, Nyakupinga River bridge. Approximately 37km from Tendesai Lodge. Turn off the Juliasdale highway onto the Mutare highway. Offers a wide range of fresh and processed trout, meals and beverages. Contact 0776 278 535.
** Nyangombe Swimming Pool, Nyanga National Park: approximately 50km from Tendesai Lodge and near to the Nat Parks office. Locally known as Brighton Beach, it is a natural pool on the Nyambombe River with a sandy beach, a picnic braai area, changing rooms, and flush toilets.
** Pine Tree Inn, Juliasdale: approximately 18km from Tendesai Lodge. Facilities are open to non-guests and include a bar, meals and teas. Please enquire at the Inn for details, or contact: 0771 803 661.
** Rhodes Nyanga Historical Exhibition (Rhodes Museum), Nyanga National Park: approximately 50km from Tendesai Lodge. The building constructed in 1897 is known as Rhodes Stables and is a National Trust of Zimbabwe property. Open daily including public holidays. There is a small entrance charge. The museum is next to the Rhodes Nyanga Hotel.

** The Packshed at Wind and the Rain Farm, Nyanga. Approximately 70km from Tendesai Lodge, 4.3km past The Troutbeck Resort on the right hand side of the highway. Open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from around 11am to 4pm and on public holidays. You can buy meals, beverages, jams, vegetables, snacks, and teas, and various local and artisanal products. There is a great view from the deck.
** The Sugarbird, Juliasdale. Approximately 30kms from Tendesai Lodge, next to the Far and Wide office, offering honey, preserves, plants, and proteas. Closed on Tuesdays.

** World’s View, Nyanga: approximately 77km from Tendesai Lodge. Turn off just before Troutbeck Resort to Tsanga Lodge, and is signposted. It sits at an altitude of 2000m with the escarpment dropping 600m to the plain below. Offers a large circular Astra Toposcope with direct distances to 30 cities, towns and places of interest. There is a gallery with pictures, a protea garden, and local crafts and sculpture. Open daily. No contact numbers exist.
