What a great time in Hwange staying at the seriously cool new hidden gem called “the Siding” @the.siding thank you for having my guests. Self driving into Hwange was very special with Animals everywhere. The watering holes are jam packed at this time of year and lots of lions!
Hwange is a true gem and at times you almost feel as if you are the only ones in the park!

Recently I was in Hwange National Park cooking and camping for some clients with @inzila_mobile_safaris.. we were based at Mandavu Dam and this incredible herd of Buffalo came to drink in the mid day sun.. it seemed to never end. Never have I seen so many Buffalo. An amazing site and also an amazing experience with Adam Jones and his great camp. The best way to cook a 2 and a half kg rump steak on a fire.. blitz it in the flames then once seared put to one side of fire and slow cook.
