Eiffel Tower facts:
1⃣The Eiffel Tower was built for the 1889 Paris Exposition and was not intended to be permanent.
2⃣The Eiffel Tower was going to be demolished in 1909, but was saved because it was repurposed as a giant radio antenna.
3⃣most-visited paid monument in the world: 6.98 million in 2011.
4⃣During WWII, when Hi**er visited Paris, the French cut the lift cables on the Eiffel Tower so that Hi**er would have to climb the steps if he wanted to reach the top.
5⃣Con artist Victor Lustig "sold" the Eiffel Tower to a scrap metal dealer.
6⃣The Eiffel Tower was originally intended for Barcelona, Spain, but the project was rejected.
7⃣The height of the Eiffel Tower varies by 5.9 inches (15 cm) due to temperature changes.
8⃣There are 20,000 light bulbs on the Eiffel Tower.

للعلم:
1⃣تم بناء برج ايفل في عام ١٨٨٩ بغرض عرضه في معرض باريس و لم يُقصد الاحتفاظ به حينها.
2⃣في عام ١٩٠٩ كان على وشك ان يُهدم، الا ان تم الاحتفاظ به بغرض استخدامه كهوائي ضخم.
3⃣يعتبر برج ايفل اكثر نصب تذكاري تم زيارته في العالم، تصل عدد الزيارات لسنة ٢٠٠٢ الى ٦.٩٨ مليون شخص.
4⃣قام الفرنسيون خلال الحرب العالمية الثانيه بقطع اسلاك المصعد الكهربائي ليضطر هتلر لاستخدام السلالم في حال اراد الصعود للقمه
5⃣باع الفنان فكتور لستين البرج لتاجر خردة معادن (سكراب)
6⃣كان البرج معناً بأن يُبنى في برشلونه/اسبانيا إلا أنه تم رفض لمشروع.
7⃣تصل نسبة اختلاف طول البرج في الشتاء و الصيف الى اكثر من ١٥ سنتيمتراً.
8⃣يُنار البرج بأكثر من ٢٠،٠٠٠ مصباحاً كهربائياً.
