“If I were to be asked where on the planet Earth one can see the most incredible wonders, I would first of all say – Armenia… Armenia is a land of miracles.” These are the words of an American painter and writer Rockwell Kent who has fairly described the beauty of our country and nature as far as Armenia really has many graceful natural sights that cannot but delight the visitors. One of such miraculous beauties of Armenian land is “Sochut” botanical forest-reserve.
“Sochut” dendropark of Stepanavan is one of the remarkable districts of Armenian nature. The Botanical garden is at 12 km from town of Stepanavan of Lori region. It will take only 40 minute drive to get to Odzun temple. The huge part of dendropark of about 35 hectares is covered with natural forests embracing multi species plants. Most of them remind of the ornamented works of art with their beautiful look.

Places like Armenia give me hope for a world where everyone grows up to become grandmasters in whatever they like....all thanks to Education.
Not far from Yerevan, near Vokhchaberd village there is this usual at first glance arch. But when you climb the stairs and stand under it, this breathtaking view of Ararat opens to your eyes. It is Arch of Charents by famous architect Rafael Israelian. The arch is dedicated to famous Armenian poet Yeghishe Charents, who liked to walk near these places and admire the incredible view of Mount Ararat. This place is one of the favorite stops for practically all kinds of tourists, - one cannot just resist the temptation not to take few photos against the backdrop of the mountain.

The Monastery of St. Dadi, otherwise called Dadivank or Khutavank is one of the most remarkable medieval architectural complexes of Armenia, especially due to its variety of valuable ecclesiastical and secular structures and with the uniqueness of the internal and external structural improvements. Dadi or Khuta Temple is constructed in a beautiful valley in the place where Gharabagh and Mrav mountain chains get closer by a sloppy hill on the left bank of Tartar river. Etymology of "Dadi" and "Khuta" names are explained in two ways as it is described in the found lithograph; one connected with the Armenian custom, the other connected with the district.

Monument to Alexander Tamanyan
Tamanyan was the city architect of Yerevan. His plan, intended for a city of a couple of hundred thousand residents, has since been mushroomed into a metropolis of over 1 million. The center bears his firm imprint however, as he came up with the wide avenues, the ring roads and the numerous parks. Even the brand new pedestrian Northern Blvd in the heart of the center is part of his original plan. An example of a building he has designed is the Yerevan Opera house, which has won awards for it's design, which combines two venues in one building.
