The new Huella de Glaciares trails have captured her attention for 2021 and beyond. The bi-country, 75-mile trail connects El Chalten Argentina with Villa O’Higgins in the Aysen region in Chile. This seven-night/eight-day journey excites Barrenechea due to the rarely-seen glaciers and lakes that are now more available for some more adventurous travelers.
