🍷🍴 Meet El Hornero

📍 This new restaurant is located in La Morada - Tunuyán, Uco Valley.

✨ The place has its two wood-burning ovens – hence the name – as its protagonists. They were custom-built to reach different temperatures: one reaches 300º and the other exceeds 500º. The objective is to prepare dishes with different cooking methods simultaneously.

👨‍🍳 The kitchen is directed by Edward Holloway, an Irish chef who worked in the kitchen of Jöhri's Talvo, a two-Michelin-star Swiss restaurant.

🍽 The idea is to achieve an experience where you can try different dishes and share them among several, in a dreamy natural environment at the foot of the Andes mountain range and with the vineyard in the background.

🍷 But the plan would not be complete without a wine menu designed to enhance its gastronomy. The executive sommelier is Andrés Rosberg, former president of the International Sommelier Association.

Solo Contigo was meant from the very beginning as a House-Winery by Noel and Terry Neelands. The winery was created by the prestigious architects Bórmida & Yanzón, according to design priorities by Noel and Terry.

Those priorities included accessibility to wine lovers and travelers from afar for visits and wine tastings, and to enjoy the spectacular scenery. The winery welcomes visitors with airy, comfortable surroundings, an outdoor deck, an abundance of fine art, and a curated canvas of music.

The winery facilities have a production capacity of 100,000 liters in stainless steel, concrete, and French oak tanks.
