Sundays in Sellicks ☀🙌

This beautiful beach pushes so close against the rolling hills and red cliffs, you feel like you can reach out and touch them.

Part of Route 31 Coastal Drive, Sellicks Beach is perfect for long summer walks and picnics too. You can pack your own using some of the best local produce on offer or take away fish and chips is also a winner. Why not top it off with a swim in the crystal-clear waters. Heaven!

Sellicks as the locals call it, is a very special place in winter too, with the long stretches of white sand, blue skies and cool sea breeze you almost have the place to yourself! Bliss!

Silver Sands Sanctuary is a small cottage with a mix of rustic and modern with a boho feel. We’ve lived at Silver Sands coming up 27 years this year and planned a lifestyle to be by this stunning beach and beautiful surrounding Conservation Scrub. We are located behind the main home on the Esplanade on Route 31 and are a stroll to this beautiful beach. I’ve never got sick of seeing this beach and scrub in all its different seasons. We love providing our guests with local knowledge about our region. The Fleurieu Living Magazine (which has taken a life time to spell Fleurieu!😅) covers everything from Food, Fashion, Wine, Homes in the area, Activities, Local Business’s and Local People’s stories. We try and provide a copy every month, but sometimes it has been sold out in days! Its that good! We have the latest copy however and is a great read. Sit back, kick your 👣 up and relax with this Mag!📚

Every year the cost of driving on the beach usually goes up a dollar. This year it’s $8. There a several local clubs that volunteer and man the boat ramps with a third of profits going to the club and the rest to council. Even though we have a Beach Pass for our guests, I still think it’s great to support the local clubs that can benefit from some extra 💰💰💰

We are a Little Byron Bay 🤍
Smell the sea air as you arrive and step out to the beach with a 2 minute walk!
We have tried to think of everything from Board Games for stay in nights, Oyster Trays, Nespresso coffee machine, Outside Barbecue and heated shower to a Picnic rug to take to the beach or a favourite winery.
Bookings are filling fast for Summer!

Many of our guests are celebrating special occasions and often need their clothes looking their best. Through travel, clothes can get crumpled. No stress, we have a Steamer or Iron as well!
Either way, when you step out, you’ll be looking Schmick and feeling confident! 👌💃🕺

I have lived in Silver Sands for 26 years. Several years ago, residents voted for our dirt roads to stay in place instead of sealing with bitumen. The vote was 51% in favour to keep our dirt roads surrounded by our Beautiful scrub. So lucky we got to keep them. I’ve walked Echidnas across the road and have seen countless kangaroo’s. We have the best of both worlds! We abutt the scrub and have the beach in front. The “Scrub” as the locals call it, is very sort after. You feel as though you’re miles away but you’re not!🌳🌳🤍🌳🌳.

We’ve been spring cleaning! We’ve had our ladder out to clean our fans, windows and c shelves. We love the feeling when everything is fresh and clean., from top to bottom🍃We even vacuum our court yard! I had some company today too. Arlo🐶.

TLR @thelittlerickshaw never disappoints! It’s one of the best South East Asian, Vietnamese Restaurants in Adelaide, but we have it in Aldinga!! It took us 6-8 weeks to get in, but believe me it was worth the wait! Mike and his family deliver exceptional customer service with mouth watering dishes. We’ve mixed rustic with modern to create a Boho Vibe. All our rustic pieces have been used from the original property. Our mud room wall was our old fence and our TV bench was an old timber beam that my dad said I would use one day!
