Bike SA is pleased to share our expansion into eBike tourism with eBike Tours SA – the first dedicated business of its type in Adelaide.
Operations will begin on November 1 2023, providing expertly guided tours around Adelaide by taking advantage of the comfort and convenience of a new fleet of state-of-the-art eBikes.
In keeping with our core values, our goal for this new venture is to encourage more people to ride, to expose more people to the beauty and enjoyment of Adelaide by bike and to support cycling and eco-tourism in South Australia.
Tours will encompass the Adelaide Riverbank and surrounding areas – a great way to show off our beautiful city and promote a cycling-friendly culture.
Our aim is to introduce more people to the benefits of cycling and the joy of riding an eBike, providing opportunity and a platform for building skills and confidence to hopefully embrace a future of cycling.
We are also seeking motivated, personable and responsible people to undertake the role of eBike Tour Guide. As a guide, you will play a crucial role in providing memorable and enjoyable experiences for customers seeking guided e-bicycle tours. You will be responsible for leading tour groups, sharing information about local landmarks, culture, history, and ensuring the safety and enjoyment of participants throughout the tour – all while riding a bike through our beauitful city! This role requires a passion for cycling, excellent communication skills, a deep knowledge of the tour area, and the ability to manage groups of varying sizes and backgrounds.
