😍 AirAsia Resumes Bali To Perth
After a two-year hiatus, AirAsia has resumed its popular Perth-Bali route meaning it is now easier than ever for Western Australians to visit the much-loved destination.

🤔 Japan Begins Reopening... Slowly
Japan’s Government has announced they will allow a limited number of triple-vaccinated travellers to enter. A total of 50 people from four select countries will be able to join the trial, and Australia is on the list! Travellers will have to follow strict restrictions including fixed itineraries.

❤️ Indonesia Lifts Pre-Departure PCR
Indonesia has announced that fully-vaccinated travellers will no longer be required to undergo a pre-departure PCR test to enter the country, effective immediately.

Hi all, just a quick update from me.
As you may or may not know, travel is BOOMING!
At Golden Grove currently myself and Tori are the two lucky connoisseurs running the shop.

Unfortunately thanks to old mate Covid, I am a close contact and in isolation for the next week (hopefully no longer!)

This means Tori will be the only one in store, and she will be working from Modbury from tomorrow until I get back.

If you need me, I will be working from home, so email is best. I am more than happy to book over email or make appts for when I am back.

Planning overseas travel in 2022? Make sure you get your International COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate before you go.

You can request your international certificate online using your Medicare online account through myGov or the Express Plus Medicare app. Make sure you have your passport handy when you do this.

Once you’ve got your international certificate, save it offline in the Medicare app or store it in your Apple Wallet or Google Pay so you can access when and where you need it.

It’s also a good idea to print a copy and keep it with your other travel documents, just in case!

It is very slowly getting easier to travel 🌏

The COVID-19 testing requirements for inbound travel to Australia are changing. You'll still need to provide evidence of a negative COVID-19 test before you board your flight, but more test types will now be accepted.

Also, the time between receiving a positive test result and being able to be cleared for travel to Australia will reduce from 14 to 7 days.

These changes will start from 1am AEDT on 23 January 2022.

It's the time of year where people just embrace the festivities, and it would be so lovely to be immersed in these markets.

Travel Tip - “The most special keepsake you’ll find from the German Christmas markets are the unique cups they serve spiced wine gluhwein and German eggnog Eierliquör in. They have the city and the year on them. Important update for anyone entering SA after 23 November 2021 💥

The State Government has today revealed three new COVID Ready digital solutions that will support the reopening of our borders.

From 5PM today, all individuals wanting to enter South Australia from 23 November will be required to complete a simple border entry process, EntryCheck SA.

EntryCheck SA will assess an individual’s vaccination status, departure location and COVID-19 risk. Based on the information provided, vaccinated individuals may also be prompted to use the new HealthCheck SA app as part of their entry conditions.

HealthCheck SA will help monitor daily symptoms and guide users through any testing and quarantine requirements.

From the 23 November, South Australians will also be able to integrate their digital COVID-19 vaccination certificate into their mySA Gov app, making it easier them to show their vaccination status at businesses, venues or events where proof is required.
