Here is theJuly 2025itinerary for Delhi, Northern India, and Ladakh:
12 July: Delhi to Kufri by bus (370 km): Start your adventure by traveling from Delhi to Kufri, a picturesque hill station in the state of Himachal Pradesh. Enjoy the scenic bus journey and get ready to explore the beautiful landscapes of the region.
13 July: Sarahan by bike (145 km): Hop on your bike and ride to Sarahan, a tranquil village known for its stunning views of the Himalayas and the ancient Bhimakali Temple. Immerse yourself in the peaceful ambiance and admire the cultural heritage of this hidden gem.
14 July: Sangla by bike (90 km): Ride to Sangla, nestled in the Sangla Valley, famous for its apple orchards and traditional Kinnauri culture. Take in the breathtaking beauty of the Baspa River and explore the quaint villages and ancient temples that dot the valley.
15 July: Kalpa by bike (Spiti Valley) (40 km): Journey to Kalpa, a picturesque town in the Spiti Valley. Marvel at the snow-capped peaks of the Kinnaur-Kailash range and visit the magnificent ancient Narayan-Nagini Temple. Enjoy the serene atmosphere and soak in the awe-inspiring vistas.
16 July: Nako by bike (Spiti Valley) (100 km): Continue your adventure to Nako, a small village located by Nako Lake in the Spiti Valley. Experience the tranquility of this remote village and soak in the serenity of the high-altitude lake surrounded by stunning Himalayan landscapes.
17 July: Kaza by bike (115 km): Head to Kaza, the largest town in the Spiti Valley. Marvel at the rugged terrain, ancient monasteries like Key Monastery, and the panoramic views of the Himalayas. Immerse yourself in the rich Buddhist culture of the region.
18 July: Rest day in Kaza: Take a day to rest and rejuvenate in Kaza. Explore the charming town, visit local markets, and interact with the friendly locals. Take in the beauty of the surrounding landscapes and prepare for the next leg of your journey.
19 July: Sissu by bike (190 km): Ride to Sissu, a small village en route to Leh. Experience the mesmerizing scenery as you pass through stunning valleys and picturesque villages. Sissu is known for its beautiful waterfalls and peaceful atmosphere.
20 July: Sarchu by bike (120 km): Journey to Sarchu, a high-altitude desert camping site located on the border of Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh. Spend the night in camps, gazing at the starry skies and enjoying the tranquility of the surrounding mountains.
21 July: Leh by bike (270 km): Ride to Leh, the capital city of Ladakh. Experience the unique blend of Tibetan and Indian cultures, explore ancient monasteries, and visit the captivating Leh Palace. Admire the rugged landscapes as you approach this high-altitude destination.
22 July: Leh to Khardung La Pass (18,380 ft) and back: Embark on a thrilling journey to Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable passes in the world. Experience the adrenaline rush as you witness breathtaking views en route to this majestic mountain pass.
23 July: Stay in Hanley, visit Unlimga Pass (19,300 ft): Spend the day in Hanley and take a trip to Unlimga Pass, the world's highest motorable pass. Be awe-struck by the stunning vistas and enjoy the unique experience of being at such a high altitude.
24 July: Hanley to Leh: Ride back from Hanley to Leh, relishing the impressive landscapes and soaking in the serene beauty of the region for the last day on bikes.
25 July: Rest day in Leh: Take a day off to rest and explore the captivating city of Leh. Visit local markets, indulge in local cuisine, and explore the ancient monasteries. Relax and reflect on the memories from your incredible journey.
26 July: Flight from Leh to Delhi: Bid farewell to Ladakh as you take a flight back to Delhi. Enjoy the final views of the majestic mountains from the air.
27 July: Delhi to Agra by bus, visit Welcome School: Travel from Delhi to Agra by bus and visit the Welcome School, a non-profit organization that provides education to underprivileged children. Experience the heartwarming interactions and contribute to their noble cause.
28 July: Agra, visit Taj Mahal: Explore the world-famous Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Marvel at this architectural marvel and soak in the romantic ambiance of this eternal symbol of love.
29 July: Return to Delhi, end of the tour: Travel back to Delhi, marking the end of your adventurous journey through the splendid landscapes of Northern India and Ladakh.
The tour cost is $5500 AUD, including 5% GST and bike insurance. This excludes international flights, tips for Indian crew, alcohol, and personal spending money.
