Attention Trunkey Parents - the bus can’t get through due to car fire and road closed in both directions.

The bus will pick up at Newbridge and continue on route.

Parents will need to make their own arrangements to get kids to Newbridge.

TRUNKEY Bus Is running 20-25 minutes late this afternoon. It’s broken down and a replacement bus has just picked up the kids.

TRUNKEY BUS has been bogged and another bus on it's way but will only be able to pick up from Georges Plains due to time restrictions. All other students will need to make their own way to school this morning. Sorry for the inconvenience.

SINCLAIR BUSES are HIRING

We are looking for a FULL TIME Bus & Coach driver.

Job is varied and interesting and includes Coach driving which can involve the occasional overnight stay in Canberra or Sydney.

Job may also involve doing a school run or school charter transfers throughout the day or even Cadia Mine transfers early morning & in the evening.

Cleaning the Buses & Coaches in our Washbay & refuelling from our on site fuel bowser ready for upcoming trips & other general duties around both depots may also be required.

YOU WILL REQUIRE-

MR license minimum.
Bus Driver Authority.
Previous experience driving a bus or Coach would be an advantage.
Provide Great customer service on every occasion
Someone who has a good knowledge of Sydney & Canberra attractions.
Ability to work as part of a team & be flexible in a fast & busy family oriented business.

Sinclair Buses are looking for an admin assistant to join our team in 2023.

If you are a good communicator, can work independently and want a part time role with flexible hours and school holidays off this might be the role for you.

Duties include coordination of all bus bookings and liaising with charter clients and schools. Assisting with reporting and accreditation requirements for Transport NSW. General office duties, errands & some cleaning.

This role would suit a person with previous administrative experience. Full training will be provided. To start minimum 4 days (22.5 hours) with potential to increase to 5 days if required.

MR License minimum
EXPERIENCE DRIVING HEAVY VEHICLES WOULD BE AN ADVANTAGE.
Ability to do charter work in our modern Coaches as well as school bus driving would be looked on favourably.

RELIEF DRIVER -Position / CASUAL

Sinclair Buses require a recently retired or semi retired professional driver who may be looking for some casual work as a fill in when drivers are away or when we get busy.
The job would involve learning a couple of school runs and then filling in when or as required. Some charter work during the week or on weekends may also be required on occasions.

Minimum MR license is required and working with children check. Driver Authority would be an advantage but this can be obtained for the right applicant.

NOW THATS A WRAP.

Sinclair Buses farewelled it’s two longest serving employees yesterday with Warren House ( 15 years) and Barry Cavanagh (13 years) officially retiring from their school runs. Both were outstanding employees who did a great job everyday but on top of that were great blokes and will be sorely missed by us all. We wish them well in their retirement.
We also celebrated the end of year at our annual Xmas party where everyone enjoyed some refreshments and a fantastic spread organised & cooked by Claire Grey-Sinclair. Thank you.
Sinclair Buses wishes all parents and children who travel with us a very Merry Christmas and a happy new year.
Stay tuned for further updates on our new drivers next year.

PLEASE BE ADVISED- that all students that normally catch the PEEL BUS from MacKillop College will be collected early at 2.15pm due to the expected flooding of Loyds Road & Russell st at 3pm.
ALSO PLEASE BE ADVISED- that due to the closure of the low level Bridge & Eleven Mille Drive due to the flooding, the Sofala Bus May arrive later than normal to the Holy Family Interchange.
This will probably result in all 3 buses( Peel, Limekilns & Sofala) running late for their expected timetabled drop off. Please don’t be concerned and wait at the stop until the bus arrives.
I will advise of any further details or updates as they come to hand.

Please be advised that the Limekilns bus will now be picking up students in Pymonts Lane this morning due to flooding in the culvert preventing the Sofala Bus from travelling along this route. Pick up times may be a few minutes later than normal. Further updates will be provided if necessary,
Stay safe and please remember do not cross floodwaters at anytime.

If you’re responsible for a child who catches the bus to or from school, remind them to always wait until the bus has gone before choosing a safe place to cross the road.
