Sorry it’s taken me so long to post, but I’m just about recovered from another 5 months of magic and madness at sea…

This contract I split my time between the Pacific Adventure and Pacific Encounter and was even extended an extra month and I couldn’t be prouder of what the teams achieved on both ships. Always meeting new challenges, I had teams who pushed above and beyond to ensure the guests had a truly entertaining and memorable experience and I can assure you that every ounce of that energy, passion and perseverance has never gone unnoticed. Proud to be your Cruise Director and Momma Bear and helping you grow, develop and flourish is one of the greatest honours of my job.

It was a pleasure and an honour working with such talented crew members - each of them a master in their own department - from my own Cruise Staff team, musicians, production, casts, GENTS and more - to the ever talented food and beverage team, bridge, those who keep the engines warm, housekeeping and front and back of house. And of course those senior leaders who do such a wonderful job at keeping everyone so motivated every day and deal with every challenge with decorum and inspiring positivity. Not to mention the amazing team that look after the crew - you’re never forgotten!

It was also a delight to see so many familiar guests turn up cruise after cruise to make you feel like family. And new ones that so quickly became part of that family. I hope you made memories for life with us.

Fun, memories, hard work and above all AMAZING PEOPLE made it a privilege of a 5 months!

For now, it’s a quick rest and a bit of an adventure before back to work time comes.

It’s never goodbye, just see you soon!

Facebook fam, this is Patricia from . Patricia works onboard the in our 10/10 bar team. Every day she goes out there to serve our guests, always smiling - and she makes a delicious coffee too…

But Patricia has a hidden talent. And I’m lucky to have been in the entertainment industry now for more than 20 years and I’ve worked all over the world, from Las Vegas to the West End.

- I’ve been lucky to meet and work with some incredibly talented people. But I’ve NEVER worked with someone who is THIS talented and doesn’t do it for a living.

Team, this is what shows like the , etc are all about…finding INCREDIBLY talented people who deserve to share their talent with the world…and haven’t had the opportunity yet.

Tonight we had our International Crew Show and I was lucky enough to be able to get Patricia up to sing on the main in the for our fabulous guests.

A few of you may remember this guy?

Ian and The Hammer joined us a few cruises back on Pacific Encounter as part of a radio competition for Triple M Brisbane 104.5…Ian had to give The Hammer the best holiday ever on P&O Cruises Australia Pacific Encounter…and if he did - as voted for by the listeners…He would win tickets to the final State of Origin game…

Well he only went and won!!

And I even got a shout out on the radio!! 🥰

The Hammer had a fabulous holiday with us, he came to Bingo, danced at every party and even met the Captain! He became famous around the ship and brought so much fun and joy to everyone…in fact, you could say he definitely brought us all together!

I’m delighted you won and it was an absolute pleasure being your and I hope I helped in some small way!!
