What is an Empty Leg Air Transfer?
An Empty Leg is a repositioning of our aircraft. An Empty Leg charter comes about when our aircraft needs to fly without any passengers, in order to reposition itself to the starting destination for its next customer. Or fly back to its home base. Just as a taxi would need to do on the ground.

Why are Empty Legs Discounted?
Coastland Aviation provides bespoke charter services and scenic tour operations, so often we may not find a full-price customer who wants to charter the aircraft for that one-way trip and time. As we need to move the aircraft anyway, so we are prepared to sell the empty part of the flight at a discounted price.

How much do empty legs cost?
Empty leg flights up to 75% discount on the usual charter price. The exact price will depend on the trip. We are prepared to offer discounted prices at the last minute. So if you're prepared to be flexible, an Empty Leg could be a great way to access private aircraft charter.
