So much going on… The Dam is a delight and rich in innovation.

Over the weekend had the pleasure of hosting the conference as part of their Great Southern Retreat 🙌🏻

We had the pleasure of taking them on a farm tour through including a stop at our Industrial H**p (Cannabis sativa) crop!

The h**p we farm is used on the menu at and in the spirits and beverages distilled at our distillery - and despite it being free from any THC our visitors thought this was a great way to end the tour on a “high!” 🌱

Today we honour and farewell Simbo the alpaca, a much loved Denmark resident who delighted and amused so many of our Cottage guests. Simbo was a loyal and constant companion to Savannah the horse, Missy the dog and Flower the cat. Savi and Simbo were inseparable, with each identifying as the other. Savi is beside herself and won’t leave the patch of paddock on which Simbo passed even thou his gravesite is in a different spot. Missy won’t go outside because her ‘outside’ is too hard to deal with at the moment. We are all sad but consoled in knowing Simbo’s life was well lived. RIP Simbo. You will be missed. Special thoughts are with Sarah, Grace and Mary. ❤️
