What am I up to - not much yet - the heat taken the wind out of me ...Lol.... but back to business - Mangos all around us - do some thing with them - do not let them rot!!! send me your recipes for the best Spicy Mango Salsa - relish - gluten free etc - low sugar - let's see what we all can get up with - I'll share them in one way !!! Try my green or halve ripe Mango sticks, dip them in a mix of Sugar Salt and long red Chopped Chillies......do it - a great appetizer. :-) and last try this with the ( Local ) Mango , Ice and Fruit Yum - Mango &Yoghurt blitz it on ice, top with LSA - Almond Sunflower & Linseeds + Lunch enjoy the Local Mango .The Spicegarden

It's Mango season all around us - try a Thai snack ,a very popular one, sold on the streets in Thailand. Peel a green or halve ripe Mango,cut of the cheeks and sides cut into fat slivers and dunk into the chilli dip - serve it with drinks tonight. Chopped and crushed long red chillis - take one to start, mix with 3 teaspoons sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt enough chilli for your taste. it is delicious. Stay tuned for more, from theSpicegarden.

With Christmas done, dusted and enjoyed. The last Spicegarden Banquet was created, cooked and enjoyed, by a small but happy group Lois and her Daughters for a 60th Birthday celebration. My Friends gone back to Melbourne.... ....Sad... we shared Hot weather Hot Food and Hot days on the Beaches. NOW missing out on Woodford ! but there is next year. Eumundi Live is on, enjoy! Bring on 2014, it's a year 7. Then one more Summer Night Market - with Food Fun & Music. The Spicegarden's Sticky Rice and Mango is on the Menu. Thank you for the regulars to the Spicegarden. I like to take the time, to thank all my Graduate's from the Spicegarden Classes and the Food Market visitors. A Healthy Happy & Prosperous 2014 to all. See you in the new Year. Hmmm the works done I dryed the Duck all night and day - look at it now - I cooked a Peking Duck ..... Thin crunchy Skin moist inside it was a delight to put on the Table , it did not last very long. I wish all of you who Like the Spicegarden a wonderful festive Season.
