I am so excited, while our kitchenette was more than functional it wasn’t quite finished. There was the trim around the cupboards, sides and bulk head that needed to be done. The kitchen guy doing it had had a run of bad luck with his health, got busy got distracted and it’s taken quite some time to get him back to finish it.
Finally he arrived yesterday to finish it off, and after a bit or reminding him what the plan was it’s almost done 🙌🏻, just one little black strip to pop in beside the bulk head and it’s done.
I can’t wait to show you all, it’s stunning 🤩…

We had a lovely group of girls stay for one special ladies pre-wedding night. It was a lot of fun getting the space ready for this special night and bought up wonderful memories of my own wedding many years ago now 🥹

There are so many gorgeous venues nearby for weddings, including Gurneys Cider and Promontory Restaurant & Winery just a few minutes away!!

Stay tuned, more photos to come, but don’t want to ruin her big moment 🤗💖

Speaking of pulling a rabbit out of a hat…..
This amazing woman Rosie Romano, has dedicated hours, weeks and months of her life to bring to you the MIrboo North Italian Festa today. Yes it is a team effort and along with the committee and band of helpers, today went off without a hitch, but what many don’t see is the hours of paperwork etc that has to be done to put on a major event like this.

Something for the star gazers out there 😍

Playing around with night mode on my iPhone 🤩

The stars here, on a clear night are just amazing 🌟 The Milky Way from our front door 😳

I’m told the camera lens picks up things the eye misses which is fascinating. I didn’t see that haze in pic 1 & 2 with my eyes.

The first one I moved a bit, second one with a tripod (that’s our tree in the turnaround at the bottom) and the third one just holding the phone really still.

I’ll have to work out how to do the same with my DSLR and capture a bigger field.

Don’t know about you but I find this kitchenette very sexy, just needs the bulkhead and a bit of paint to finish it off… oh and some luscious big wine glasses 🍷

So popped into Fish Creek this afternoon to grab a script for Tim (yes this little town has its own pharmacy) and we thought we’d grab a quick coffee for Tim and a Chai for me at Gibsons.

They do a great coffee, and have a great range of locally produced produce, breads, spreads, and yummy cakes and slices all made in house.
Fingers crossed they bring the quark cheesecake with lemon curd back 🤤

Oh and did I tell you they’re licensed!!

We’ve been giving the dairy a bit of a makeover during ISO. Bit of a long process and slowed down a bit now with Tim heading back to work, but that’s ok ticking along.

So we head to Melbourne yesterday to look at Sofas, as I was a bit wary about buying sight unseen online. I headed off with a very clear idea of the style I wanted and first stop was Plush Sofas in Dandenong.

Oh my goodness, I think it was love at first sight, and totally not the couch I went in there to look at 🥰

Meet the Zephyr!!

It has a moveable back so you can have a more upright seat, or roll it back for a gorgeous luscious space to curl up on. And that leather is so soft you just sink into it like a cloud ☺️

Only down side is it’s 10-12 weeks away 😩

Yumi loves his walks along the rail trail, just a few minutes towards Foster is the perfect spot for a rest and or a little picnic with your best buddy.

And before you ask - yes we are pet friendly and yes we supply a little picnic hamper and blanket ... no excuses 🥰🐶

Stargazers 🙌🏻 This is the view of the Milky Way from our front door. The sky is so clear and so bright it always reminds me that we are part of a much bigger universe ⭐️ The Southern Aurora can also be seen just up the road from the Hoddle Lookout or The Prom Beaches when it’s happening.

Such a beautiful day here in South Gippsland, getting out before it got too hot. There was a beautiful breeze once we reached the lookout which made the walk worth it.
