The top deck area for the caretakers beer garden area is oiled and completed.
Just adding some bamboo feature fencing and it will look and be amazing

Curlew Cottage - caretakers quarters nearly finished the kitchen install.
Only a few doors to add on, some splashback and a nice bamboo bench.
Then the 32inch TV can be put onto the wall.

Only a few more planks to go and the top deck will be done.
These rain bombs have delayed us by over a month☹

The top level of the back deck / beer garden is slowly getting built.
But finally starting to look like a deck.
Already an amazing transformation compared to the old asbestos fence.

The weather has been very windy and heavy rain squalls.
Poor people camping.
However our guests have still been able to enjoy the pizza oven and especially the verandah, a few trips to various sights and last night they even managed to toast marshmallows in the fire before the rain started again.
Winning.
They're so glad to be in a holiday house 😃

Feeling sorry for the families camping on K'gari last night.
Tent wrecking gale force wind and absolute deluges of rain several times last night and this morning.
There will be some very unhappy campers today😢

We have 3 very lucky families with 10 kids between them that are cosy and dry at the Happy House 😎

When it was time to go home; Tiggy wasn't finished his holiday yet.
He hid under the bed so he could stay longer.
He's having some kool adventures and will get posted home after Easter. Check in for more of Tiggy's adventures.

Sunrise from the front yard.
The grass is looking great after all that rain.
Just starting to do up the gardens.
Work in progress but getting there.
We are closed in Feb for maintenance
But taking bookings from March.

Got some spaces in June and July

Dug some eugaries, caught beach worms and the fish are even biting lol.
About to fire up the pizza oven.

The Happy House is accepting ALL guests. Both UNVAXD and Vaxd. Come onto the island from the Rainbow Beach end though.

The barge from river heads won't let unvaxed people on board as of Dec 17, but the the Manta Ray from Rainbow Beach WILL, so just come over from Inskip.

Update River heads barge now accepts unvaxd but we must stay in our cars.
