Happy sunshine daze people.
Hey everyone, we are open for a short time this month. The days are 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd and the 30th. So come paddling in the morning with us, push the button to book a place, only 6 places available per tour. You can call me if you prefer a chat, I return calls after 6 the night before the tour. Payment is on the day and this month a special price of $73 per person applies. It is a 7:00-start time at the beach near the Perry Harvey Jetty. 2hrs to enjoy the magic of two beautiful coastal ecosystems on this guided tour and hopefully we will catch a glimpse of some local wildlife.

Just want to say thank you for the local support. We are taking a break till our beautiful Winter weather kicks in. When we get back, we may look at some changes to trip times and set up some deals to help everyone's budget. Looking forward to catching you for paddle soon.

Hey people it's been a bit wet of late and our holiday crowds were hard to find this season. I hope everyone is doing OK.

Met with some of the hard-working accommodation providers in Mission Beach this week. Great to talk to you all and hope you did not have too much to clean up. I was given a warm welcome and offered advice which I appreciate greatly. So, because of your kind advice I will be getting around to give out some QR code signs to link your customers directly to our booking page. I will try to get our dates out for January soon as well. Thank you and let's look forward to welcoming back the sun🌞 and enjoying our holiday season.

We have been asked about tours on other days. Originally, we had the 3 days available to allow for our other work and family time. We realize we can do more. It is hard to find family trips that are simple and close to Mission Beach. So many other great local businesses are doing amazing work promoting our area. We have decided to open other days due to customers' requesting days we were not going to be open. Tropic Flavour will be open Monday to Saturday when friendly high tides permit.
We hope that more visitors discover the quality and variety of mission beach businesses available and decide to stay and play a bit longer in our beautiful villages. Will post December kayaking dates soon.

We have added November Wed 24th, Fri 26th, Sat 27th and Wed 29th to our kayaking tour dates. See you out for a paddle soon.

I added this as a comment earlier but thought it should be a post as it is going to be helpful.
Folks' info when booking tours. In the booking notes, please add the number of people paddling and their ages. I think from about 4 years and up the kids should enjoy this trip.
We currently are running groups of 6 paddlers for a nice and personal tour. The bays in which we operate have a lot of history, both geological and natural. They have an abundance of wildlife and are very important to our First Nation peoples to whom this area has great cultural significance.

TURTLE NESTING SEASON

Did you know that it is turtle nesting season?
To give these beautiful babies the best chance at life, please:
💚Stay off vegetation to avoid trampling nests
💙 Do not drive cars and quad bikes on our beaches
💚 Keep nesting beaches dark and safe for sea turtles. Turn off, shield, or redirect lights visible from the beach. (Lights disorient hatchling sea turtles and discourage nesting females from coming onto the beach to lay their eggs);
💙 Do not disturb nesting turtles, nests, or hatchlings;
💚 Fill in holes and knock down sandcastles before you leave the beach. (They can become obstacles for nesting turtles or emerging hatchlings); and
💙 Remember that dogs must always be on a leash at any of our beaches.
