So many of you are asking about next season, so I’ve opened up the calendar for bookings.

I’m continuing the $220 for 2hr bookings until October. And the Lounge Boat you get 4 hrs for the price of 2, but you need to book before July 30.

There’re always changes that cost us more money to run our business. This time it’s money and weight.

From August, when the new season starts, the Picnic Boat, Early Riser and Sunset Cruise will only be able to take 7 people in the boat. No longer 8.

Please bear this in mind when booking.

After 6 years I’m finally going home and I’m taking my girls with me🤩 I can’t wait to see my family again and explore all the new things in Oslo.

Nauti’s season is from mid August to June, so we are heading off for July.

This means I won’t be taking any calls, but will answer emails and I’ll probably organise the new season so you can book whilst I’m away for season 8.

Remember that we’ll have the second boat ready if you pre-book “Feelin’ Nauti” and take advantage of our launch deal.

Today my main focus has been on family. 17 May or 17mai as we call it, is our National Day in Norway 🇳🇴 🇳🇴🇳🇴. We celebrate our constitution and we greet every Norwegian by saying “congratulations” to them - “gratulerer med dagen”😊

We used to have the best celebrations here in Perth when my kids were little, there was hotdogs (), Norwegian waffles and cakes, kids games and a parade in the city. Unfortunately this has all stopped after the adults took over from the students.

Today we managed to be together🥰. Youngest had studies and the oldest worked from home. I had no bookings (too gusty today anyway).

I’m back online again on Monday, but will try and answer all emails and texts over the weekend.

The Swan River is calling 📣

It is absolutely stunning out here today.
This morning we picked up the old lady from South Perth Yacht Club and took her back to Ascot Waters (she is potentially going to be a new service I’ll offer).

The Swan was so calm and hardly anyone out.

Upon our return, Nauti’s customers were ready to embark on their upper river experience 🤩

I designed a new steering console for “Feelin’ Nauti”. It’s half the size of “G6”.

Some small adjustments are still needed and then it’s done.

Do you want a phone and cup holder on top? The throttle will be on the right hand side of the console and “out of the way”.

The stereo is built into the gunwale on your left hand side close to the lounging area. It will be the job of the crew to pair the Bluetooth 🎶🎵

The last hire has just set off for today😊 It’s been great seeing all the mums and their families out enjoying the serenity.

There’s no celebration for me as I’ve been on the jetty all day and as my girls don’t live with me now (as I’m without my own home), we’ll celebrate on May 17th as it’s also our National Day 🇳🇴 and our Rotti, Raven, turns 7. This day is therefor not available to book.

I am beyond excited. 🤩
After nearly 18months, the boat is finally coming together.

I love the diversity of people coming out to enjoy the Autumn weather but also the Swan River on our electric boat.

May weekends are booked out, except for May 26.
Weekdays are available and remember a 2 hour hire is only $207+bf.

We have blankets in the boat for when it becomes too crisp on the water😊

If you are a senior, got kids in school (mums day on the river), have family over from overseas or over east or are celebrating a special day, you’ll have the river to yourselves on a weekday 🧺🥂🍻🥳🛥️

In principle, you need to keep the boat out of the red restricted 🚫 zones but still understand navigation markers as they won’t show on the map

As you can see here, we need more testing and I hope you will help us out🤩

Our maps will show navigation on the river whilst the GPS app will guide you away from harm.

The last couple of days have been pretty sh*t (thoughI do love the rain and thunder), but we are banking on May being awesome with low gusts, sunny and flat water.

All weekends except for Sunday 26 is booked out in May. But, all weekdays are available.

We won’t be keeping the discounted price of $207+bf for long, so this is your chance to book a 2 hour hire and get a feel for the Swan River boating life.

With the Weather Protection, you’ll get a full refund (less the $50) should the weather turn bad.

Remember to bring a jacket or a warm jumper for your morning hires. I also recommend a thermos with coffee or hot chocolate as well ☕️ or stop at for a takeaway.

We won’t stop boating until the weather tells us to. Check our real time calendar for available dates on our website (weekends are almost booked out in May)!!!!😳

Our Story

Ahoy my boaties! Nauti Picnics offer a unique and intimate self-skippered, electric boat adventure with no boat license needed.

The Swan River/Derbarl Yerrigan is a beautiful urban river with lots of wildlife, architecture and Indigenous stories. We provide the boat hire, safety equipments and induction, maps and a shady cover, all you need is food, drinks and friends, and off you go to roam the river in your own time and pace.

You can hire the boat for 3 or 6 hours and leisure around Maylands area to Perth CBD or the Swan Valley (wine region). You are the captain, you are in full control of your adventure! “Freedom to roam” is our expression from Norway.

We launch from Maylands Boat Ramp, in Maylands (off Clarkson Road on the Peninsula). Easy access from Guildford Rd, 15min from Perth CBD and close to the Perth Airport for those coming interstate or from overseas.
