"Patagonia, with its unparalleled landscapes, and Buenos Aires, a city pulsating with culture and history, were beyond my expectations. Our exploration included navigating the fjords and glaciers aboard Zodiacs on an Australis cruise, offering us a unique vantage point of this region's natural splendour. Setting foot on Cape Horn, the southernmost tip of South America, was a highlight, marking a significant achievement for any traveller.
Our trip was elevated by the luxury and comfort provided by the Tierra Patagonia and The Singular lodges. Known for their outstanding service, breathtaking settings, and immersive experiences, these lodges enhanced our adventure. Experiencing Patagonia on horseback was truly remarkable, connecting us to the land's beauty, culture, and adventurous spirit - a must for anyone visiting this part of the world.
Tierra Patagonia, celebrated for its eco-friendly design, blends into the landscape, offering mesmerizing views of the Torres del Paine National Park. It presented a variety of activities, from hiking to scenic drives, allowing us to delve into the park's wonders. Similarly, The Singular Patagonia, set in a restored historic building with views of Puerto Natalesโ fjords, melded history with luxury. It provided diverse excursions, from glacier visits to cultural explorations, enabling us to immerse in the region's natural and cultural heritage.
In Buenos Aires, attending a Tango show was a cultural immersion into the passion and rhythm of Argentina's iconic dance. Additionally, taking a cooking class offered a deep dive into the country's rich culinary traditions, teaching us to prepare specialties like empanadas and an authentic Argentine asado.

Globetrotter team members Kathryn and Lori recently joined Crystal Cruises aboard the luxurious Crystal Symphony while in Fremantle. ๐ข
After a tour of Symphony's stunning suites and facilities, guests enjoyed a sumptuous lunch in the Waterside Restaurant, the menu inspired by Chef Nobu Matsuhisa.
