I am a wife and mother to a beautiful baby girl and a puppy. I also work in a demanding job and have spent years yo-yo dieting. A chance meeting with an old friend in 2016 lead me to start eating Low Carb High Fat. Within weeks I started noticing changes. My skin became luminous, my cravings disappeared, my moods became more stable and I slept a lot better. I had the energy to look after my baby a

nd run a household. My blood sugar levels have also stabilised and I lost my baby weight. From the experience I have gained, I have decided to try and help others gain the knowledge and understanding they need to start their own diet and lifestyle change. I have completed the "Real Meal Revolution - 5 Week Beginner Banting Course" Banting is another name used for LCHF. My organisation LCHF 1 on 1 is simply this; 2 weeks with me as your mentor to guide you and get you started the right way. You will have direct access to me to answer your questions and ensure you're on the right track. I will be supportive of you and your individual journey. From there, you can continue to work with me for a further two weeks to get the basics right. Overall, I will provide you with the material, information, know-how and experience required for you to take hold and control of your own health. There are no shakes, no pills, no juice detoxes, no sachet's of powdered chemicals no subscriptions, no vigorous exercise, no calorie counting. Just.... real.... food. All you need is a trip to the supermarket and the courage and determination to change your life, start living and stop feeling guilty. Everything I advise you to do, I do myself. I have a 'keep it simple' approach as I believe this is the easiest way to get better results. I'm truly excited to show you the way.

So true!!

The worst thing health authorities did to us was tell us to avoid fat.

Fat makes us feel full. When we don't eat fat, we have to eat more carbs. Eating more carbs makes us hungry.

When we started gaining weight, and health authorities told us it was our faultβ€”that we were too lazy and had no will power, we just eat to much.

So we try to eat less and move more, which makes things worse again. Eating less than we need and exercising makes us even hungrier! And, a set up for failure. We fall "off the wagon" because we have toβ€”our body is trying to survive! Eating less than we need is NOT normal!

And, it puts our body into a state of starvation stress. Our thyroid slows and our metabolism slows. Then when we return to normal eating, we gain it all back plus interest. Is it really our fault?

That would be a "no".

Butter has almost become synonymous with the term "artery-clogging saturated fat." But does it actually clog arteries?

The butyric acid in butter actually helps clear arteries In addition, it protects us from viruses, yeasts and pathogenic bacteria in the gut. Butyric acid also has anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties and and is beneficial for treating irritable bowel, and other gut issues.

And, grass-fed butter is full of vitamin K2, which also helps clear arteries. The job of K2 is to distribute calcium where it is needed in the body. And, if we do have calcification of the arteries from eating too much carbohydrate and sugar, then K2 helps clear that away. The only problem is, we have now virtually eliminated vitamin K2 from our diet. The best sources are fatty animal foods such as grass-fed butter, egg yolks from pastured chickens, and fatty cheeses like Gouda, Brie and Camembert; all foods that have been demonised.

Not only that, butter is one of the most nutrient-dense foods on the planet. It is packed full of vitamins A, D, K2, E, lecithin, iodine, selenium, glycosphingolipids (which aid digestion), short and medium chained fatty acids, CLA, and much more.

Interestingly, most people in developed countries are now low in vitamin A, vitamin E, iodine, and selenium.

What is Low Carb High (healthy) Fat?
In a nutshell, it's significantly reducing carbohydrates and sugar in the diet whilst increasing the amount of fats and consuming a moderate amount of protein.
It's a guilt free way of eating which has been scientifically proven to reduce sugar cravings, keep you fuller for longer, reduce inflammation in the body, reverse T2 diabetes, aid in weight loss, prevent insulin resistance and improve blood pressure, just to name a few and all without counting a single calorie!

I am here to mentor and guide you one on one to get you started the right way.
