"Lake Poona" A spectacular freshwater lake and is a 10 minute drive from Rainbow Beach! A 2km walk through beautiful rainforest and you are greeted with white sand and freshwater ! This is a gem so close, the likes of what you would see on Fraser Island.

Walking to the beach is like a mini adventure! Beautiful trees, wildlife and more... only minutes from the house! It’s about a 10 minute walk up the beach to the flagged area and town 👍

Sand boarding ! So much fun as long as the legs hold out getting back to the top! This is the dune on the Rainbow side of double island point. Best thing is you end up in the lagoon for a swim after.

Bit of nostalgia for those who remember the Cherry Venture. The Cherry Venture was a 1600 ton cargo ship of Scandinavian origin. It ran aground on Teewah Beach on 6 July 1973 and remained on the beach for 34 years until its removal in early 2007.🌈🏖😎🏄‍♀️
