wondering what Lynn is looking at?

Slide across to the next pic to see the Waratah Anemones we saw on today’s Bradleys Head Bushland and Beaches Tour.

These little guys are usually found during low tide just above the waterline.

Quite often, a number of small anemones will be near to an adult. This is because the young are released, fully developed, through the adult anemone’s mouth.

So join us and see these little guys and other marine animals and plants on our Bradleys Head Bushland and Beaches Tour.

The Sweet Sarsaparilla (Smilax glyciphylla) is a native climbing vine with edible leaves and fruits.

Sweet Sarsaparilla is said to be a bush medicine. Relieving aches and pains, sore throats and coughs when the fruits are eaten or the leaves brewed to make medicinal tea.

These little beauties are endemic to Sydney Harbour National Park but if you are not looking for them, you just might miss them.

So, to avoid this, join us on our Bradleys Head Bushland and Beaches Tour and be shown where to find these gorgeous little delights.

POP! The Sydney Red Gum (Angophora costata) is in full bloom!

Just spectacular to see these gorgeous trees engulfing the rocky shoreline of Sydney Harbour.

It’s no wonder these trees were named the eucalyptus tree of 2023 by . And now, not only is their bark shedding but their blossoms are just popping out everywhere. Even dangling over the pristine waters of Athol Bay.

So, come and see these iconic Sydney beauties with us on one of our guided walking tours.

Go to our bio and click on our website to book our Bradleys Head Bushland and Beaches Tour to wander beneath the Sydney Red Gum.

What a wonderful way to finish our Middle Head Battery and Barracks Tour to have Ken Done present his works on the Japanese midget submarine raid on Sydney Harbour.

One of our highlights during our walking tour of Middle Head is to share the story of when the war came to Sydney Harbour.

Today, we had the pleasure of experiencing the first series of paintings produced by any Australian artist that explores this historic event through art.

Well done !

Mikey from the Sydney MBMMC and his crew of ex-service members were all smiles during our Veteran wellbeing tour of Middle Head.

Today marks the end of this year’s Veterans Health Week sponsored by the Department of Veteran Affairs.

This year’s theme is Mental Wellness Matters and it aimed to promote good health and wellbeing in the everyday life of veterans and families.

I personally know that time in nature can heal and enhance your wellbeing.

So grateful to have guided this walk today and got to meet the crew from the Sydney Military Brotherhood, Military Motorcycle Club.
