Hyenas pups are ao very cute, and Kruger is one of the best places to see them as the clans love denning in the culverts under the roads.

We are always over the moon when our clients' holidays exceed their expectations!
There is nothing in the world like a Kruger National Park sunset!
Chris visited 6 different lodges in and around Kruger National Park last month. Tshokwane River Camp was one of his favourites!
This seasonal tented camp is set up at the start of each dry, winter seasonal just north of Tshokwane Picnic Site, between Skukuza and Satara right in the very heart of Kurger National Park.
Located in prime wildlife habitat, you have this incredible area to yourself for your morning, afternoon and evening guided game drives.
Between game drives, you can enjoy the comfortable simplicity of your eco-friendly tents with hot bucket showers, or the divine stylish lounge area on the dry river bed.
And the food at Tshokwane was simply amazing - the best of the whole trip 👌
Elephants are truly amazing!
Researchers used artificial intelligence algorithm to analyse calls by two herds of African savanna elephants in Kenya
And we saw her complete her not very gracious descent out of the tree too (wait for the video to see her crash into the bush at the bottom at the tree).
Our final afternoon in the Serengeti and a final gorgeous lioness in a tree. Her sub adult cub was in the grass below and she was trying to locate the rest of the pride with soft contact calling. Such a stunning sight as the sunset over the plains!
We can't thank you all enough for voting for us - we are delighted to be finalists for our Local Business Awards 2024 🧡💛🤎
What a hugely exciting moment for Travel Africa as we warmly welcome Jeff to the team! It's been an incredibly busy couple of years for Travel Africa, and Jeff brings passion, experience and vast knowledge of Africa with him to help us continue to create amazing African safaris for our clients.
Hippo Pools in the central Serengeti living up to its name. Can you spot the gorgeous baby hippo with Shrek ears?
The lion king ... having a snooze in our picnic site.
The lion king in all his sleepy snoozy glory. This fellow really reminded me of the lion from the Wizard of Oz!
Claude, our guide, put us in the perfect spot to watch this giraffe in action ... check out that amazing tongue and lips ... and seriously look at the size of those thorns!
Serengeti sunrise🧡🤎💛
Secretary birds are such fun to look at and watch, I thought I'd have some fun with the editing of these photos too. They absolutely love the grasslands of the Serengeti and we managed to get so close to them quite a few times.
Voting closes tomorrow so please make sure you"ve voted for us in our local business awards.

Now that is one very comfortable lioness in a tree!
Sunrise over the Serengeti - food for the soul🧡
Seeing a herd of elephant making their way across the plains of the Serengeti is a truly magnificent sight.
And look at all the animals we saw ... including a gorgeous pride of lion!
Hot air ballooning over the Serengeti Plains, pure magic🧡🧡🧡
A 4am wake up call, drive through the darkness (seeing a hippo, serval and big male lion on the way) and then the most exciting and spectacular sunrise at the hot air balloon launch site!
Hot air ballooning over the Serengeti.... woo mega hoo!!!
And look who we spotted on our first lot of kopjes (small granite rockie hills in the flat plains).
Serengeti lion kings totally living up to their reputation!
It's not often you can get so close to a lappet-faced vulture, so I was super excited when we found this fella perched on a tree right by the road on the way into the Serengeti.
I just love the various relationships between the birds and the mammals.
I suspect this cattle egret will give a 5 star review to the zebra uber.
What a privilege to be able to visit this absolutely incredible part of the world!
Once we emerged from the Ngorongoro Crater, we had the most spectacular drive down out of the mountains and into the endless Serengeti Plains.
And just to add to the most incredible day ... the migration was there to meet us!
The high rains mean good grass in the south, and so the herds are late moving north.
What a treat driving through a sea of wildebeest and zebra!!
Pure heaven!
And just to top off the most mind-blowing time in the Crater we spotted these 3 lion chilling out on a fallen tree as we started to head out. It couldn't be any better🥰🥰🥰

What a sight to behold ... a huge herd of elephants making their way across the road in the central Serengeti in a lovely long line.
Nothing can compare with the magical feeling of hot air ballooning over the endless Serengeti Plains!
No words can describe the feeling of driving down into the Ngorongoro Crater with the most mystical light and stunning rainbow. #ngorongorocrater #safari #tanzania #africansafari
And the crater kept giving .... soon after seeing the caracal, we came across these 3 lions - a female and two young males. They played leap frog with the vehicles ... using them for shade and also cover so the other animals wouldn't see them.
Absolutely exquisite doesn't even start to describe the magnificence that is Lemala Mpingo Ridge Lodge, my home for the night. From breath-taking views over Tarangire National Park to stunning decor and a gorgeous outdoor bath, Mpingo Ridge is just perfect.
Glorious sunset footage shared by clients recently returned from their dream safari in the Okavango Delta in Botswana.
WILD DOGS! After so many incredible lion and leopard sightings, our lucky clients saw this wonderful pack of wild dogs too. Thanks so much for sharing Sue Boardman and Dave Boardman.
*Warning for sensitive viewers* Our client's Sue Boardman and Dave Boardman had this intense sighting of a huge lion devouring a buffalo kill.
And Greater Kruger just keeps giving - such precious creatures in such an amazing landscape. Thanks so much for sharing Sue and Dave.
Sue Boardman and Dave Boardman first sighting during their 3 night stay at the fabulous Arathusa Safari Lodge in the Sabi Sands, Greater Kruger. What a sight to behold🤎
