Happy birthday to our staff member Gezza.
Landed his PB on a 65kg BlueFin for his 41st birthday.

Unfortunately we lost a huge fish after a 50 minute fight. Estimated at 80-100kg.

We had well over 100 YellowFin ranging in size from 20-50kg busting up for 3 hours.

Top day.

Another great day spent with Tafe Ultimo Maritime training Coxswain NC.

Now with 3 NSW TAFEs onboard we are busy training student from Coxswain, M24>, MED3/2.

Love teaching and training the students to become competent masters.

Wyangala Dam 2024 trip.
Leaving Sydney at 5am Monday 5th May and on a fresh water fishing adventure to the pictures Grabine tourist park at Wyangala Dam.

A huge fresh water dam twice the size and volume of Sydney Harbour. Dam capacity was at 95% and can hold a staggering 1217GL and is 54KM sq in area.

My dad and me set out on a 1 week fishing trip in the search of Murry Cod and Golden Perch.
Two native Australian fish that are sought after for their fighting skills and beautiful taste.

After a week of fishing and have ventured around Wyangala Dam, Abercrombie River and Lachlan River which both feed into Wyangala Dam, we managed to catch some Murry Cod, Golden Perch (yellow belly), Carp and lost the biggest Rainbow Trout I’ve ever seen.

We travelled over 60km on Thursday to the far reaches of Abercrombie River which is where we found our Murry Cod.

Countless large Rainbow trout were seen but pretty hard to catch.
The fishing trip was completely lure fishing and have probably casted 1000 times to catch my first Cod.
They are know as the 1000 cast fish and for good reason.

Top trip with my dad, pictures scenery and having both of us landing our first ever iconic Murry Cod.

Some clients from western NSW spending a day fishing with us.
A slow start but then landed this monster 60cm Pearl Perch and loads of Morwong and 5 very nice Pig Fish.
He wasn’t happy with one Pearl Perch, so 5 minutes later another on deck at 57cm.
3 in total for Pearlie’s todays.

Today’s charter onboard both boats went very well.
Steve aboard A-Team with a very nice Bar Cod and we managed a good haul of fish.

Flat Attack. With some warmer water we are seeing more Eastern Blue Spot Flatheads on deck.

Easy to catch and damn good tucker.
Filleted, deboned and done in beer batter with a dash of lemon, salt and pepper!!

How do you like your Flatties cooked?

I’ve been a bit off the radar lately with posting on our FB page. Just been super busy with building another small boat and back to back days at sea.

I will restart regular posting but a quick updated, fishing and weather conditions lately have been just brilliant.

Will keep you all updated with my new build once completed and a run down and review of some cool technology on the dash.
A few issues we’ve had to iron out but hopefully another 8 weeks and we’ll take delivery.

Changing this boats electronics to Lowrance Sonar with down scan, side scan and active fish sonar.
Alway used Garmin and Koden with no issues but sometimes change can be good with different technologies.

A fun personal boat for me and the family, definitely not another charter boat.

With summer time fast approaching and the waterways are becoming a lot more busy with boat and vessel traffic, remember safety, good seamanship skills and safe boating practices.

Yesterday’s charter ended with very energetic Humpback whale doing some spectacular breaches.

With Sam behind the camera, he managed to capture some magnificent still photography just off North Head Sydney.

Just imagine how much power is in that tail to propel a 20 tonne whale completely out of the sea.
Impressive to watch our oceans wildlife.!!

It’s not always fishing. Our bird watching club makes regular bookings and we always seem to see some spectacular wild life and some awesome natural occurrences.

With over 10 water spouts viewed today, this one was by far the biggest I’ve ever seen.

Sucking up huge volumes of water and a base about 200m wide.

Glad it was 2NM away. Awesome to see and glad it was at a distance from our charter boat.

Mother Nature is truly untamed.

Cracking good day on-board both boats A-Team and StrikeBack.

We had a top day with 9 Pigfish and 3 full boxes.

Some good all round fishing and perfect weather conditions.

Top day on Teraglin. 22 keepers and the biggest hitting 75cm.

Snapper, Morwong, Pigfish, Flatheads and a few more species had 6 fisherman haul in 40 keeper fish.

The biggest Snapper we have ever caught in over 20 years off Sydney.

This big red hit 82cm and a whopping 6.5kg.
