Now the town will be quieter as young Australians on party boats have gone, as well as families with children.
It is going to be replaced with those who love exploration, nature and more tranquil time, probably until November.
In my view, is the loveliest time of the year, still great for the beach, but not so crowded anymore

"Every child had to know how to make macaruni, and adding too much water won't save even 3 kilos of flour."

Macaruni were made only for special occasions and are mainly associated with the village of Žrnovo, from where they spread across the entire island.

When it comes to the sauce, the traditional recipe never strayed far from a good beef goulash, which was, of course, enriched with red wine. Since meat was a luxury on the island, macaroni were often mixed with tomatoes and prepared with a "dirty" salsa.

Pag’s needlework lace done by industrious hands of the women of Pag has educated generations of children; sending them to schools and universities. Since 2009 it has been protected by UNICEF and it is still alive. Nowadays, 35 women in Pag are making needlepoint lace and it is an elective subject in Pag’s primary schools.
The town of Pag founded in 1443. by a famous Croatian renaissance architect and sculpptor Juraj Dalmatinac. The town was planned in a very simmetric way and in the manner of a centre of a town pllanning, wich is: the main square is in the very centre of a town having all its streets parallel to it. A part of this beauty was taken over by the needlewomen of Pag who have seweed tha lace ever since. This lace tells the story of the climatic beauty and of people, whose wish to preserve the sewing skill is still evident and alive after so many centuries.
