Lerwick is the capital of the Shetland Islands and has around 7000 residents. During Shetland Wool Week around 500 visitors will attend over 200 events.

Can’t wait to be apart of this event which started in 2010 as part of the newly launched Campaign for Wool. The campaign was an initiative of HRH the Prince of Wales and it came at a time when wool prices were at rock bottom and generally this natural fibre was not in demand.

THE GOOD ➪ We became grandparents to the most beautiful little darling boy. Beau you sure make us smile in a somewhat dark year. Thanks Bek and Will 🩵💙

➪ Jess and Josh continue to live life to the fullest, both with jobs they enjoy. Can’t ask more than that 🩷🩵

➪ Tomorrow we celebrate Jessica's 29th Birthday 🩷

➪ I travelled around parts of Australia with my awesome job 7 times and took a tour to Scotland and the UK 💙

Oh let’s do this again!!!! Come to Wales in 24? Francine Gill

I decided to take the opportunity to learn as many new things as possible from the talent on this tour. So two of us decided to do a knit along and I must admit we are knitting along bumpy windy roads, dropping stitches, laughing, telling jokes, sightseeing but still knitting.

Pattern: Sidhean Shawl
Yarn: Iolair Yarn and is divine
Review: read all of pattern first, and stitch count every row would help immensely.

BUT. We love it and we’re having fun 😘
